I've heard their Forex model isn't the best. They charge you the spread and you have to pay commissions on top of it. For their futures offer, I believe you can trade products commission free if you use the platform they've partnered with (Tradovate)

lol, they quote their packages in buying power. How shady can you get? So $275 for $500K in buying power. It's a $5,000 account with 100:1 leverage. Be careful out there folks.

Let these wannabes waste their money buying...

If they can't even do simple maths, they don't belong anyway. Let them pretend that they are a "funded trader", no point trying to save these fools.

Yea they definitely don't match what the forex firms offer but I don't really see any other firms for futures in the states.

Let me explain why FTMO 10% target is better than other prop firms 8%.
1. FTMO has low spread than other broker.
2. FTMO ecn commission is lowest. ( when I open 1 lot in ftmo I have to give $3 commission but other prop firm broker I have to give 8$ commission to 100$ commission in BTC)
3. FTMO platform fill the price as it is. In funding talent Challenge account I see trade doesn't open when I just open the trade.

All together I believe Other company 8% is equal to FTMO 12%. For day trading FTMO is king.

I'm pro prop firm. I am funded with FTMO. There are just a lot popping up and haven't come accross a good deal yet.

Right, just look at recent example Topstep, $275 for 500,000 in "buying power" when quoted this way, FTMO is $640 for 10,000,000 in buying power. 100K at 100:1. Of course, nobody should ever trade like that, just doing a comparison.

I think for passing a FTMO challenge 1 to 25 leverage is good enough.

As crypto has stated many times, $500 per day, you could do that with 1:1 if you can get 50 pips, 2:1 if you get 25, etc.

Doesn't matter what time frame. Use the largest account for example.....you pay $875, you have $800 in DD. What will you trade .50, maybe $1 max per pip. For simplicity, let's say $1, so you need 1400 pips to pass. Well now you have $2275 in your personal account. They will scale you to 80K, DD still 4% (3200). Maybe trade $3/pip now. You need 8000 for 10% to scale. So 2666 pips, now you have $10,275 in your personal account and they scale you to 160K (6400 in DD). So, you see, by stage 3, your personal account is winning and you keep 100%. You can keep doing the math, but I assure you the difference just grows larger with each stage of "scaling"

A complete fraud company funding talent. They have first confirm that My payment they receive through PayPal. I have all prove in payPal that I have paid them. Now they are saying they don't receive my payment. If they don't receive payment why they allow me to trade their account. when I am in profit they say without payment full confirmations they will inactive my account again. Now I am in DD because they have give me lot of mental pressure. Now they are saying they will not inactive my account. Because they want me to fail. if I pass they will say My payment is not confirm so they will not allow me any fund. complete fraud company.

who is more reliable PayPal or funding talent. PayPal is saying I have paid them but they are saying I don't pay them.

i don't know if it'll work but in this situation i would try Pay Pal refund option because the seller is not giving you a product. .. i mean open a dispute..

Hi,

The money is sent to my account with IC Markets, not funded-traders. If i decide to stop the evaluation, i can withdraw the money. Therefore it is deposit and not fee.

The deposit is less than the DD allowed. Please re-read funded-traders website.

Yes I would second that.

Pay Pal should act swiftly because you did not receive the service/goods for which you paid.

Open a dispute via Pay Pal.

Some firms are wanting max 2% DD per day with max loss of 4%, far too tight for the trader in my view when you want to make some decent gains it will be very difficult especially over a short time horizon.

This is one of the issues of concern with a Prop Firm offering a 1M account but I do understand where they are coming from it is risk management after all.

So far FTMO is looking very reasonable.

Hi Pipmaster77,

Thanks for offering your time to post this as buying power was a concern I had as well and just because it's a 1M account doesn't mean a trader will derive more profit compared to a lower capital with higher leverage and more favorable conditions at a different Prop Firm.

Compare 1M at 10:1 leverage as opposed to say 400k @ 100:1.

I know which one stacks up better but of course all other factors need to be considered.
