I only take full TG profits.

I have no issues seeing price going 5 or 6R in my direction and get out of there with -1R.

When I decided where a TG should be, it is where it should be. If the market doesn't go there it is because the market is wrong.

Boy....Of course you pay for your stop and take a a partial profit if you're good enough to have this opportunity. :-)

This is a great question. Khorsaki explained well , when u allow the SL fully , partial profit doesn't make sense as unless otherwise if you also take partial stop. But i want to go little bit deeper here. If u look at my losers for example out of 4 losers 3 at least went 1 R profit before it hit the SL. Assume i take 50% off when 1 R for every trade . My net loss for losers become 1R . But my profit will reduce to 8R so my net profit become 7R whereas full profit taken 11.3 R.

However, when u start your trading career better to take profit 50% off from 1 R. this will build a profit taking confidence . And after sometimes your losers may not meaning much for you. That's the only time we need to switch to full profit taking . Because when want to take full profit , some trades will go in nice profit before hit SL .if this happens consecutively , it may affect the emotion and confidence. Another advantage is in partial profit , is that it detach you from that trade and u can move to other trade faster once partial profit taken.

In my System of Procedure (Trading System), when the PA was clear, that we have space, then for me there were 2 choices, partial closed or full closed. It depends on the reading of PA on multi timeframe analysis. If in HTF the PA very clear that price will go to its ideal target, then i will always took partial closed at LTF area. So Partial closed only applied when in HTF PA, the reading of price was very clear, if not, then i would closed all my positions in LTF.

in statistics, it is true. But in real practice, the successive stoploss will destroy the small account and the confidence of trader.....

I am sorry to interrupt. 1 quick question for you. If we have an engulf on Monthly timeframe e.g nzdcad it has a huge engulfed candle. So my question is that why price is moving against this engulf candle? Why it is not going down as we all know that monthly has a huge impact on price action. Sorry I can't post chart right now but will post it. Please enlighten us.

Hi, if you want to trade a big Account (Question: what is big for you?), you can also trade via Bank Guarantee on serious brokers. Then the P/L will payed daily/weekly/monthly depending on the agreement between you and the broker.

there was some Idea i had about MPL
So here i am and its some MPL level i can see in charts :
*Note : its a level with very very Clean reaction So i think its MPL (MAX PAIN LEVEL) and it cant be hunt in live moment but we can use this level for Later.

i Hope this Post help you to find a very clean Spot for trading in S/D Zones (You see this level just in S/D Zones).

Note : This is a level of S/D zone So be careful this level become Clean NOT Engulf.

1 : Find a S/D Zone (Base)(3 Candle that cant close upper or lower each other)

i know fractal is going to repeat From monthly-Tick Chart so i do down to find the ORIGIN OF FRACTAL (it gives us a small Zone).

Tricky Note :
i market mpl line in the top of a high in 1Min Chart BUT "its not the end of fractal and i need tick chart to find it But i can see THE Fractal ORIGIN make a little base and mostly it seems like a Flag Limit.
on the last photo you must find a FL or a small Base .

* Take time and find some MPL and see the price reaction.

Dear all,

We say a FTR is FL if it can hold price at least for 1 time. My question is how far should price bounce after touching the FL? Does it have to make a higher high or lower low to consider it a valid FTB and therefore a valid FL?

I saw that not only in that Thread here is when you should draw a Zone. About that many Trader also comes into trouble.

I made this for a fast view. on the left, we have nothing on that example, so we mark all FTRs (market structure) from then we can draw the true FTR for find setups in the future. Only we see an engulf, or the Price touched or goes into the zone, we can draw the FTR before (I mark that in the Chart with Point 1,2,3,4). I hope that helps. For training finish that Chart with the right points.
