Couple of bearish candles on the 15m tf, but could still break higher I think. Could still set up for a short though, so waiting to see what happens around this R2 pivot which I have at 341.

Short from 340, SL 30. TP not sure, see if I survive this long enough to move SL to BE

Moved SL down to 360

Okay, I'm at BE now, as I think the chances of it still breaking higher are quite high. If it runs for me, it runs, if not, nothing lost.

Out @ BE. Still think there could be a short later if it fails to break above today's high, so watching to see what it does.

Nice little 70 pip drop, without me.That'll teach me to move my SL to BE too quickly. Could fall quite a bit further now.

Hoping Dow will pull back a bit at the NY open, as I think it is going lower. 31,000 could be in play this week, maybe even today. Just my opinion.

Anyone trading Dow today?

Just to quickly introduce myself. I'm relatively new to trading and to ff, and am trading a micro account. I've chosen Dow due to the small spread and big moves. Yes, I know it's not the easiest instrument to trade, such is the volatility, but the way I look at it, trading it, or at least attempting to trade it, will offer a great learning curve, hopefully, one which goes up rather than down!

So I'm here to learn, not to make money, and am risking only money I have set aside for this purpose, and nothing I cannot afford to lose.

Why not trade demo for a while? Because, I see it as a waste of time. Gotta have some risk, however small.

Today's S1 just hit. Hopefully that'll send it back up a bit.

It pulled back a bit, but the turnaround was fast. Dangerous pa at the moment, so staying clear for now.

chancing a short from 787, SL 30

Too risky, cut at 800.

Looks like it's probably heading for pivot R2 today which I have at 950

I think around 900 if it gets there looks interesting, so I might try another short if it sets up right.

I think Dow may be heading for a high around 32,000 if not before. I see a major fall/pull back from this level, so we'll see if I'm right. Problem is catching it.

It is dropping a bit from just below 900 as I thought it might, but I want a pullback for a lower high, and then I might go short.

Got a small pullback, but still risky as I think the price can still charge, but this level it is very tempting to short I must admit

yes it's charging again, and I want the 950 level now on the R2 pivot if it can get there. Might be a great short opportunity around there?
