Just shy of 8500 pips now. Works out to about 25% gain on account. Can't remember highest drawdown exactly, but it's not been too high. If the EA takes a series of trades that are going into too much drawdown, it just closes the whole sequence for a reasonable loss before the dd gets out of control.

A master like this should improve most ea's. If made, adjustable. Where we can add the stock indicators or some custom. Where we can have 3 or 4 time frames. It will have less trades. But more quality trades. Then we could trade more pairs. It may make some of the crappy ea's winners.

The master can be a fully functional ea on its own. A "swiss army knife" ea. That can use the slave to filter each other. It would make any slave ea less demanding to build. The main blueprint is the masters criteria. The slave could be fine tuning. This will filter out a lot of trades. But the quality should be better. One could just increase/decrease the size of trades or not (make more $). One could fine tune the slave to more pairs. The master being a "swiss army knife" could on its own be tuned to trade. But if one has a good ea already. Why not filter some bad trades out. I think there is a big demand for a master. You don't have to back test it. Too many advantages to name. You may be able to limit all trades to the master, manuel and ea. The master can be optimized to the best trading times, spread, and numerous other criterias. If you want to buy after a certain news. Tell the master. The master will do it if the other criteria is met. If you want to buy a certain level, tell the master. Go to sleep, the master will do it. Everyone is a fan.

The other settings were stop loss settings (the close all ea) - set default false... Don't use them to "close whole sequence for reasonable loss..."?

OK - got the stop loss taken care of ... Still would like to know if having the EA on 2 charts of the same pair, using two different time frames that are so close together is good...
Well I guess I don't have the EA set up (or something is wrong with it)... I'm using V6 and it won't allow Grid trades - I get FICO violation.

It's going well! The issue is... No prop firms will allow people to use my EA's in a big way. Because everybody is using the same strategy, it's as if the prop firm is allocating hundreds of thousands of dollars to me personally. CTI wasn't able to handle the load of people using my Ranger + Pinpoint EA's there. People using my EA's at CTI were forced to stop because of the risk CTI faced from too many people using the same strategy.

Never the less, my account is still going at CTI...

My profit has been under target the past 3 months. My average profit over the past 12 months has been +0.83% using a risk profile that accommodates a max -4% DD. This risk profile was selected because it showed the worst my strategy's had to offer over the past 10+ years. -4% is the maximum CTI allows. They also only allow -1.5% max risk per trade which is also limiting. I'm hitting an average of +0.5% profit each month right now. This should go up with more normal trading. I'm expecting to hit their 7% ($1225) profit target in 8-10 months. I have 12 months to reach their target. Still, I'm not sure I will continue this account as CTI may have bigger plans for me personally in the future. I've been in talks with the CEO there over the past few weeks.

Most prop firms require the trader to have luck in order to pass challenges. The majority of traders pass these challenges with timely win streaks. The issue is, when these win streaks run out and the trader is faced with a stream of bad trades, they fall apart. The majority don't accommodate the worst their trading has to offer over years of trading and backtesting resulting in unforeseen losses. It's a huge missed opportunity by most traders because of the lack of planning.

My approach to prop firm trading was a lot more calculated than most. To be honest, if more people went about their trading like this, they would realize what the market is ACTUALLY capable of giving them risk/profit wise over long-term trading. They would also find out, 95% of prop firms don't have good enough rules and conditions for long-term trading.

I by no means know everything about trading but my approach is... Controlled risk = consistent profit.

I looked back through the attempted trades... No matter what grid setting I tried, it continued to use 0.01 trade size and the broker rejected it. Is V6 a working version?

Also, what about the other question - 2 pair trading on 2 different time frames at the same time...

I'm struggling to find any prop firm that has fair rules for long-term trading. But looks like I will need to save up and use my own money.

Geeze start a thread for free EA and boy got some typing to do. I have a lot to read to to feel this out but I like the fact you want to help other people achieve. If it's honest really it don't have to be free. I seen some of what was said about to many people trading this on same brokers or prop firm (I have to research that not heard of it) is a kinda go figure huh. Try to be nice and still we get blocked. I may just not understand whats going on.
