Perhaps, we all have our tools I suppose.

Hey, I get screen shots of IPhone trading results every single bloody day on my social media accounts from signal sellers. They are all manipulated trading results.

I am not say your trading results are not real, but could you post a monthly report showing full details.
If this month is not so good, maybe post March’s trading results instead.
We do this in our trading room to support each other and offer suggestions if needed.

We don’t need to see dollar amounts, just net increase or decrease in equity plus draw down levels.
Otherwise no one will pay attention to your nice profits. Please take this comment as a trader interested in your complete results.

Hmmm....., one thing is certain traditional technical analysis is useless in this algo world.

Ofc as a lone retail trader you've got to have brains understand how the PhD data scientist go about their work. Remember they work under supervision. You have to think like one to unlock the algo code, right? So which is harder, write the algo code or hack the algo code?

The scare tactics used by big "...." (fill in the blanks) regarding whatever they think is hot S!@# and will potentially make them unlimited money and help them gain unprecedented control ...... is a clear fallacy. As I have stated before, it does not matter what big algo's are doing, IF you are paying attention. People who are new to trading (eg the last 20yrs or so) would not remember the markets as they were last century and how they looked and how they moved around. In part it's still the same "game" it has always been. Now it just happens a bit faster and with more tech. But a tech runs on electrical stations and can be unplugged. Then it is deemed useless and is used as a chunky paper weight. Are you seeing where I'm going with this?

You are very likely WELL out of the league of these "algo's" and their operators. You can either uncouple yourself from reality and think the Terminator movies are coming true, or, get on with your trading until such time as we are not allowed access to the markets anymore. Being afraid of something because of its possibility, is not the same as believing it because you've seen it and touched it and tasted it. Understand? The apparent whiz kids etc who go into QT, are only as smart as their common sense. So there are three options - either there is a BIG algo running everything, or, there's a number of small algo's running alongside the big market overview or, there are just a few big/small algo's in play that DO tend to influence things.

See, common sense. NOW, what you do with this is determined by how much common sense you possess. Either "blame" algo's, manipulate your mindset to see them as the "enemy" etc, or, simply assimilate ALL the above options into your overview, while understanding your trade options AND having multiple back up plans at the ready.

If you really think your broker is manipulating things THAT MUCH, then WHY stay with them?

Do you enjoy playing the victim in your own life story? Or is it possible that most people have fallen prey to the mirage of power, control and powerlessness?

It's something to think about.

Whether algo's are present or not, what can YOU do about it?

If you LOVE the algo stuff so much, why not track down the best companies running the best ones and invest a chunk in that company? Hedge your bets?! Mmmm?

Use their strength against them.

I would suggest you re-evaluate that risk assessment. Looking at that TF and price-time relationship, where the white price line is, where you have written "10" and "London...". Why? It's the M5 and there are multiple highs congregating around that zone/area etc. If you look at the M15 or M30, its too general. But the M1 and M5 are showing it "working through" the zone before breaking lower. It's just a suggestion. Your 10P stop would be more effective that way up against what you don't know. Simply draw line horizontal to the first double high it shows at left, after vertical move up. Then you'll get your 10P profit instead of 5. Same trade less risk.

Just my thoughts

that 10 and 12 are from the indicator. 10 indicated that London 8:15, M15 candle range is 10 pips, then it breaks down for 12 pips.
This strategy is purely based on statistic more than 15 years till now.

btw GBPUSD is in an equilibrium now. Nothing to see

Care to elaborate? This seems to be one of the missing pieces for me. I understand the structure but having a hard time getting my head around proper entries since the zz's and semaphores that build the fractal structures are notorious re painters. That and wave counting is extremely subjective.

Just forget and ignore the Elliott Waves and Zig-Zag indicator. Just look at a clean chart as you would look at 100 cents making up a $1.

For example:
$1 = 5 times 20 cents
20 cents = 5 times 4 cents

The multiples can be seen as "waves" (waves within waves within waves and so on).

The theory is correct, claims are incorrect and the application in live market is wrong. So use only the theory in the first post, the actual application in live market can only be learned by actual experience with a math interpretation. This is the critical point where almost all traders got it wrong tricked by both the algo illusion and consistent indoctrination. How far a trader go to get his breakthrough lies in this live market challenge. Few manage to guess part of the elephant.

Yes, as least that is a proper basic understanding of fractal.
