That looks good. I can see the 1:1 ratio you have there which is a good indication of where the bulls are going to come in. You look like you are figuring it out quite well. Just keep trading and finding those expectations. Practice practice and practice. One thing I noticed is the top of the fibonacci needs to be placed right at the top of the swing including the wicks, yours seems a bit short.

I am looking at the projections for another possible Gartley build up. Will look for a "C" sell in my AOI at the blue 78.6 fib.

Not a bad day. Absorbed Fridays losses and half of Thursdays (2 losing days last week). But each individual day for itself and tomorrow is another day.

AUDUSD expectation

This was a pretty good trade in my opinion.
My expectation was that the uptrend is exhausted because of the mostly small projections, increasing depth, and weakening momentum.
Not to mention that price retested the Higher Low, which I thought would make it unlikely to expect a NSH. Retesting the highs most likely.
Entered short somewhere around the yellow box due to the aforementioned reasons.
As for management, the new projection after it broke the Higher Low to create a NSH was decent enough so I expected a pullback to the middle of the swing.
It turned out to be better since the retracement was pretty shallow, confirming that it has more force to drive price downwards.
I may exit upon the completion of this AB=CD pattern.
Trade is at BE + a couple of pips now.

Nothing indicating weakening as of the moment.
So I'm expecting a shallow retracement before continuing USDCAD's move to the downside.

First trade for day.
1:1 on the AB=CD. The 15m TF shows a lot of resistance in this zone and some supply (only information I have left of chart). May fail on this swing, I am looking at the 15m chart and 1:1 isn't completed on the larger OF. May re-enter if fails on the 1:1 on 15m if confluence agrees.

Edit: Gave the SL 2 extra points for a more harmonic SL.

SL -14 pips.

I wasn't happy with the timing of this trade, I didn't look deeply enough into the chart. Next trade.

Same trade but at a more harmonic level with confluence. It was an aggressive entry without a rotation candle.

As with the text inside the chart, I think that an expectation to create a new structure high is unlikely to occur since price retraced from the previous lows.
Big indication that the market is going to change trend

Nothing indicating that the EURUSD will weaken from its current trend.
When price broke the previous lower high to create a NSH, the expectation was a pretty deep retracement since the projection from the previous lower high to the NSH is actually not that significant.
Price however only did a shallow retracement and proceeded to give us a good move to the upside.
Expectation is another shallow retracement before creating a new NSH.

Momentum decreasing
Depth increasing
Projection decreasing
Multiple signs say that the trend is weakening.
Expecting a deeper retracement/retest of the lows. NSH still expected but projection will not be that much.

Momentum is fine
Depth is improving
Projection is improving
Looking to buy this inside the yellow zone since expectation is a NSH.

Hey rescueava, great charts.

I was looking at your NZDUSD and noticed something. There appears to be a good 1:1 ratio. It's not quite an ABCD but a AB=CD. Price is at an area of strong resistance / supply but has broken through many barriers so may push through. It may however react and be in for a full correction.

I haven't studied the chart closely so please I'm not trying to influence any trading decision just thought it interesting.

Thanks for pointing that out Matts! And yeah, zooming out I do see the supply zone.
Right now, I guess I only saw the most recent price action and didn't account for other significant levels of support and resistance.
And I'm still practising Mr. Pips' lessons on order flow so apart from me not taking the bigger picture into account, I think I followed the process so far so that's an achievement of mine lol

TS 17 Pips. Marathon trade....

I have entered buy on the longer term OF as I don't think with the strong accumulation candles at the start of the swing (quoted pic) this will reach the 61.8% fib correction (violet) and the 1:1 on the immediate OF. I have a tight stop at the bottom of the AB=CD swing.

Going against me at the moment without the desired reaction from the buyers so I may be wrong.
