red lines were my tp's today, one single trade, i liked nothing else. got out just now, had to make profits.
stupid pa. i hope assian session will push it lower to break the lows of today so i can buy tommorow. (1.195-1.197 would be nice at london open)
this pa does not give me confidence for longs just yet as much as i like it long from here,

I mean, since we are at the bottom of a falling wedge on daily chart, robber banks could create fake spikes down to create a feeling that lower edge of wedge is broken but then when seller come in they quickly pull price back up into wedge zone..

Therefore I am extra careful in going short especially while price is strolling around 1.1980/1.2000 area..

Ah now I got you, thanks. This that makes sense, the price drops today were quite freaky. Probably scared the shit out of anyone considering a long. I was watching the same wedge and think it is quite strong as it ends on the long term trend line. Additionally there is even a smaller falling wedge inside this bigger one, which would be to break first at the current resistance. So either these wedges are true or the inverted head shoulders patter in DXY.

Another day, another dollar.

EUR broke 1.203 which is great, they probably spent the whole day accumulating longs just to move it during the dead asian market time. Happy with my long now

I am not currently in a trade. I am seeing some divergence on the 4 hour chart. I will wait for price to break above the yellow trend line to take a buy. Having said that, it could fall to the 1.19800 area first, seeing as how this is a 4 hour chart. If price does break above the trend line, I will be looking for an initial big move up, allowing me to set my stop to BE, and moving it up as price moves up. As with all trades, the take profit can change due to price action, and NFP this week. This is just an idea and does not constitute trading advice.

This is a very strange and sudden move to be happening at this time, for me this screams stop hunt under all the recent low. I'm praying that this next candle suddenly engulfs but if it's not a stop hunt, we'll probably see consolidation until london opening? Bears have definitely started slowing but the question is if they'll have one final leg. They're making it extremely difficult for bulls to enter.

No it's not. Asia also make prices move. US indices snapped. Correlated move.

Bulls are staying above 1.2040. Below is bears territory. Range bound 1.2009 - 1.2040. If we see move above 1.2040, it'll pullback from 1.2065 - 1.2085. But below 1.2011, the next target would be 1.1965.

I'd rather sell the highs than buy.

Lets see.

DXY looks ready to pop up today, I don't have a good Euro entry short here though, If it came up to 1.2030/32 I'd venture around there

1.20 is a very tough price to crack but when cracked it becomes a very strong resistance.

Trends have a higher probability of continuing than not.

Just wick to new low of 1.20028 for the week seriously? Let see if it holds up. I could have closed +20pips and reevaluate, but I was not watching trade. Anyways I not surprised. The blue and green support line is where I expected the bounce and we're drawn in advance. Still holding long. 3am is around the corner could still break even IMO.
