market still bearish , but now will be correction first (1.203/1.205/1.20605/1.20690, above 1.20884 potency for reversal to uptrend more) .... continuation down trend to 1.19728/1.19534/1.19343 after correction ABC complete

Ascending triangle in play on DXY implying a breakout to the upside (IE down Euro). Continuation of bear market after 91.24 breaks on DXY. US 10y yields at a powerful resistance level, also in an ascending triangle... I believe these have further to go. Not trading this just imho.

DXY, The exact opposite of what's playing out on EURUSD...the market maker is playing with the bulls.

Interesting, I've never followed harmonic patterns but last time I noticed a Gartley on DXY it preceded a huge movement. Do you find these quite reliable? I'd like to integrate them into my trading.

If the thread starter consents, what are your percentage returns on equity. Ultimately making money is what we are here for and yet there is a great deal of reticence on the subject.

I've recently reduced my trade-position size and found that a 10% weekly return on equity, on a 400:1 account could be sustainable, for me.

Anybody care to contribute their experience?

I aim for 2xR per day on 2.5% risk per trade (ie 5%), if there's more on the table I'll take it. Intraday/scalper my average stop loss is 5-10 pips. I'm aiming to complete this before/during LO, if I do then I'll take hypothetical trades for the rest of the day just for self education/improvement. I'm trying to integrate more 'global macro' style position trades.. this is my ultimate ambition alongside the scalps.

My primary trading strategy is Elliott Wave, has been for 13 years. I am yet to find a more powerful strategy. Over the years I adopted what is called Harmonic Elliott Wave, that gives me double confirmation. A Gartley 222 is essentially this:

X - A is the 5 wave Bull/Bear Rally Elliott talks about,
A - B is the first leg of the correction i.e. (A)
B -C is the second leg of the correction i.e. (B)
and C- D is the final leg completing the Gartley i.e. (C)

So, combining EW with Harmonics works very well, but you need to master all the Harmonic patterns. The Cypher on DXY started on 01 December 2020, which was not easy to spot unless you know what to look for.

Based on H1 my aggressive sell level sits at 1.2035 for now... But is better to sell as high as we can just in case of a bullish reversal..

*Any intraday candle close below 1.20175 gives bears power for a new push down..

I believe 1.20044 is the low of the day, I'm long and I need to see see price retrace to 1.20729 or even 1.21258 aggressively or else bulls are dead. I think this pullback is necessary before reversing back all the way down
