I still have the large-swing trade running currently -8 pips down though the risk is lower (equal to about 10-12 pip SL in dollars (from 18 pip SL) on the MM side of things)

Not a bad day, about 20 pips in profit atm. Happy with that as I am trading a small scale which is about the market range but not dollars (MM).

I know I spammed the thread a little today, but nobody else posting so I thought I'd jump in and show that Mr Pips methods do work. Just keep watching those Vids.

P.S. this is not a paid for system, just Mr Pips hard work in teaching us and his channel can be watched on youtube.

Here's a Harmonic Pattern that you don't see that often.

The Dragon Pattern, in this case an Inverse Dragon one is a reversal pattern that is usually present at double and triple tops/bottoms.

On CAD/JPY chart I have marked trade points and a suggested target.

This pattern is best used with a confirming oscillator.

Lets see how it goes !

+34 pips, just shy of a 2:1 trade (risk 18 pips).

Had a nice BO at the end with potential to go further but I followed my rules and trailed it to conclusion. As I said I don't like holding trades over night on large swings but saw an opportunity and went with it.

Forgot to update. This pattern failed. The longer term bull swing kicked back in. I was able to do a recovery trade with a +5 BE overall.

Edit I forgot to update this. -5pips SL. I entered shortly before Market open and got hit when it did. Brake a rule and lose a trade, fairs fair.

Got an ABCD pattern completion on the shorter term order flow and waited for the correction to my area of interest on the larger OF and entered short.

+13 pips TS. potential for further downside but at structure and rules setting.

Looking for a short entry at the 50-61.8%fib of this swing for target completion at the 1:1 of the white TL swings. With this size pullback would indicate bears are starting to weaken. If pullback and target eventuate should be ready for bulls to come in hard (at the 1:1 white TL) which also has strong confluence on larger OF's.

Finally reaching my AOI for the bulls to re-enter.
(Obviously re-entered my short with my SL where it should have been on the first trade).

PS even though Mr Pip may be retired I encourage peeps to keep watching those vids and post questions and charts. I'm not saying I know the answers but interaction of traders helps both the students and the teachers. It's a full gold mine here, all you need to do is to do the work.

Short TS 28pips.

I have entered long. A fraction above my AOI but got a rotation and was unsure if there would be waiting orders that would trigger making PA surge.

Got a good rotation candle at the good place in my AOI so added to the position. No reaction from the bulls so looks like this might fail but so be it. I post losing trades as well as winning trades to be as transparent as I can.

So trade survived after all. That is what happens when you put the SL in the right place. TS at 61.8% fib of swing.
+28 pips.
