well that's part of leverage, reserves are almost assumed but lately it seems no one respects this, thus we have the REGULATORS cracking down on it, sad , sad, sad

the abuse of leverage is when there is no reserve, yet leverage basically implies the need for a reserve , yet now forex also sees people who don't get that so we all have to be regulated.

how about enforcing a test before people sign up, oh no, but that might seem discriminatory

just as in society:the laws now need to protect people from themselves in our ever evolving mental devolution - of course it's not the end of everything, just more inconvenience

took a bit longer to double the account than expected, 55 days over a hopeful 30days , but it is the end of the year and Aud started to swing long so it got a little tricky

Hi guys, since the topic is about no SL and keeping the position for quite a time i got a question as a new trader haha..... Have you guys experienced getting a high negative swap? I got -19.50 swap on 1 position only, it is really concerning to me since if the pair does goes up will it increase too? Or if the pair goes down will the negative swap go back to 0? So basically before i slept i checked the status of my position and
Buy: +10$
Swap: 0
but when i woke up it is
Buy: +35$
Swap: -19.50
Position placed: Jan 13, 2021

can anyone help me with this? I’m really concerned because i just loaned money from my brother since i don’t have school yet. Im still trying to learn forex since November so sorry if i dont know much haha. Thank you

Trading without stop loss orders is quite viable, however, traders still need to put some methods in place to guard against large potential losses. This can include employing hedging strategies, options, or using very low or no leverage.

AUDSGD account has been modified a bit as it has had a good run so going to try turn down the risk a bit.


Started up a new account with a new target/pair, early data is looking good so will try get another double-bagger through feb, will update once it starts, action!

brown zone is a trend/ price push, which is not ideal but if it gets bad this is what i can expect... black line is the median/price facilitation

usdjpy is starting to show a pattern, possibly worth playing but some potentially big brown zones means it would be low risk

That's new, most guys here always advise to use stop loss. So what % do you risk if you don't have stop loss at 100%?

well if youre trying to get 100% roi in 1-2 months then risk is 100% - but returns and risk can be adjusted - i'm also expecting 85-95% win rate and i don't expect that to last forever as a pair will eventually change.. range trade win rates at 90% over a year are hard to find .. some do though, but by the time you get on them it might be too late-- If more money is in play then i use 'grey stops' and/or 'hibernate' - ideally i'm not live in one account with more that two pairs++correlations as that increases exposure considerably :

reluctant to play usd of late as it can be a bit skitzo, plus usd demand is surely coming, all sort of people are mega short usd still so the eventual swing back will be brutal

hmm well wrong on that, a/c still loving the line -- a neat distribution would now be a spike to the top line otherwise it must be due for a fall surely

stuck usdjpy on the new double-bagger account because this low vol is killing my entertainment. might switch it out if i think usd will start to swing, but should be a month in it at least.
