Well, GBP players are LONG but technically they are SHORTing. Indeed its confusing.

Non-commercials. Just pay attention to that.

You usually look at the non-commercials. But GU is a tricky one. Look at those boxes that show commercials' positioning. They were on the right side in the last 4 cycles. It seems they are on the wrong side now. But if GU drops from here, they will be on the right side again.

i think COT is not a tool for trading. But just a report like any other financial report to info cooperation on the positions of the Big Banks etc
