New TDI/RSI/MACD traders make a common error. They try to trade dead markets. They do not know their asset, so they will take a crossover on a candle that is well below the average range of a candle in an active market.
I consider the ATR of the bars that are relevant to the setup rather than the ATR of some predetermined number of bars.

We as Humans, make things more complex than they need to be, when looking for solutions to problems.

If your intention is to project the image of a genius trader on this forum, the simple way to convince others is to attach a TE. You know the drill.
