So I assume the result (Biden can ride the blue wave for at least two years) has already been priced in. I don't expect a surprise spike. Maybe for SL taking, but not from the elections. Only if surprisingly Perdue will make it, that could lead to a sharp USD strength and a drop of EURUSD.

I agree. But just after the results were clear. During the election yesterday/today, the EURUSD was behaving quite nervous. After it was obvious that the remaining counts will come from typical democratic (urban) places, it was clear that "the blue wave" will become reality. That's one reason for the weak USD...

Yes agree. There is some upfront pricing by positioning of medium term traders, but the full weakness would unfold slowly caused by physical FX flows.

It does look like we are hitting some. Based on my data though, if we encountered this exact scenario 100 times, approximately 82% of the time we will see 1.2380 before 1.2280.

Doesn't mean it will happen today/tonight, but it's very likely. Based on those numbers, the current pullback is providing a decent opportunity to add/get in.

Thanks for your daily input and analysis! I am in the process of examining your '10pips strategy' that you regularly use. Quick question, do you mainly just trade the EU? I am finalizing my trading system, and I have been advised by some to just focus on no more than 6 pairs, or even just 1 or 2. Others however have advised to watch about 30 pairs to get enough opportunities (I am a fulltime trader). Just wanting any advice on this to maximize my chances of survival! Also, do you trade during the Asian session?

In my opinion as soon as you "finalize" your trading system, it starts getting obsolete.
I'd rather just focus on 1 pair and master it as much as possible.
Withdrawal makes your profit real.

Interesting u are a full time trader but just finalising ur system?

How many pairs u look at depends on ur trading time frame and ur trading method if u ask me. If you are a scalper you can't be looking at 30 pairs, even 6 is difficult. If you do m15 I think 6 still manageable. 30 pairs is probably if you trade on daily timeframe. Of cos you can do both, short + long term.

U probably need to describe ur method else difficult to advise further.

trying a long @ 1,2301 with potential tp @ 1,2325. Will have a close eye on PA around this area. If price will break it or do we retrace today....
