Working in the market on the eve or immediately after the holidays - it is always some kind of difficulties, because the market is weak, the movement is almost stable, there is no news, everything is somehow complicated, besides the levels in this period are formed quite weak, so many people switch at least to short-term positions, to get at least a minimum profit and just work in the market. This is the irony of the situation - when we have enough time and energy to trade, the market gives us weak potential. And vice versa - when we are busy and not always able to concentrate on what's going on, the market offers a huge number of opportunities and offers to earn money. Why does it happen this way??
It seems to me that the potential for profit is always there - much depends on the choice of asset, strategy, timeframes, etc. You can always find the right approach - it all depends on knowledge and experience, if you wanted to, as they say.
On the other hand I agree that on days like Mondays it is much harder to work. But it can be arranged.
Your work does not seem weak or wrong to me. It just may not have been as productive or profitable as you thought it would be. That's okay. We don't always get what we want, so always aim for the minimum so you don't have to face a lot of stress and worry later.
