Request for modification to FastLine
Please add option to settings that will disable redrawing of the bands on historical candles. eg if i put the indi on a m1 chart now, and check the price of the upper band of the closed candle, for example 1.32845 and in 20 mins time i put my mouse on that same candle, the price for upper band will have changed.
Thanks.

Thank you very much, Mr. Sohocool. I wish you a happy 2021!

About the explanation of mladen ... yes Centralized TMA recalculates/repaints, but it is a very visual indicator and helps to identify channels and trend lines. I use centralized TMA with other indicators that do not repaint and I have achieved good results.

Morning guys. I have been trading a modified version of Alfredo's TMA Extreme system using only the TMA indicator on the 4 hour TF. I started with a experimental $10 micro account at the beginning of 2020. I made a big mistake about March 2020, but recovered from that to have $100 today. Not a bad return.
I trade always in, all 28 pairs.
TMA settings as per alfredo, but the 2.5 setting set to 2. Then another TMA set to 3 and another set to 4. Centre line visible.
Strategy:
Place a Limit sell and limit buy on the TMA 2.0 line. Adjust settings continually every 2 hours or 4 hours. Once a trade is taken, measure the pip difference between the TMA 2.0 line and TMA 3 line and place another limit order to be taken should the market overshoot further. You can have up to 5 entries this way. Put your TP on the center line. Do this continually with all 28 pairs non stop even through the shutdown December/January period.
As the market moves, the TMA moves too of course but must be only viewed as a point of probability where the market could move to. The pip difference between the line should be used and not the specific TMA line position, as the indicators are just probabilities. You can take profit anywhere, but the market will probably do it for you most of the time.
There will be many questions, but fire away. This is a stress less way of trading with lots of spare time.
Losses: As long as you are in the market, keep your TP on the center line even if some trades move into a loss situation. Very rarely you will lose some pips in a market moving strongly, but keep at it and in it.
I DO NOT USE STOPLOSSES AT ALL. My view is if you do you are specifying a point where you want to lose money. I don't do that.

Lastly, do not overtrade your account. I use a ratio of 0.01 lots per 1500 (cents) on this experimental account, but will advise 0.01 / 2000 for starters. TRADE THIS ON A DEMO FIRST TO GET USED TO THIS LAZY WAY OF TRADING AND TO SEE IF IT SUITS YOUR STYLE.

i INCLUDE TWO INDICATORS HERE:

FAST TMA line from Alfredo's system, and a "Break even" indicator I use and was found on the web.

Let me know what improvements or ideas you have to make this better.

Hello all first time post on this thread. My, some of these indicators, templates look very interesting and professional.

I have been trying to find the extreme_spike indicator but cannot find it in post 1. It was post 18 which particularly attracted me but not sure if it is a template or several indicators. It would be appreciated if someone could point me to the correct post to pick up the information.

That looks very interesting and profitable - I have set it up and will be following next week. Excellent idea. Just keep lot sizes within a size to not be overly bothered by DD. Good one Barry. - Oh, period cannot be 500 though - just 50. Are you using a trade order panel or the MT4 order placement system - I think I want something quicker than the mt4 order methods.

Hi AltosTrader It is the ATR period that must be 500.
Because you will be always in the market, you will be constantly in a small DD. If you use 0.01 lot/2000 it wont be so worrisome, maybe up to 25% or so every now and then. I am now in a 12% drawdown this weekend.
I am trading on MT4, and because i only use the 4h TF, it is fast enough for me. But: do what you want to do!

JUST SOME THOUGHTS:
The value of a commodity always have a high value beyond which there will be a retracement. 50% Fibo then represent the center line take profit point.
The same with the lower value. If its cheap, traders buy and when it gets too expensive a sell presents itself. TP at the 50% Fibo (Center line)
Endless oscillations year in and year out.
It is not to say that occasionally it wont move outside the expected probability. Because of things like 9/11 and Brexit etc, you must stay abreast of news and world affairs.
It is a hands on system but using the 4hr TF makes it stress free. I put in an easy 8 hour sleep and can go shopping or to restaurant without any fear, because I can set limit orders long and short at the specified distance and only set TP's if anything triggered when I get back.
Prepare to be a couple of days, even a week, in some trades. That"s why a permanent DD will be encountered.
You can also do basket trading and close all positions if the profit looks good. If I held trades that look never ending, I close the basket in profit to get rid of them and start again.

Sounds too easy? Not without risk, but then, what in Forex is risk free?

Trade Easy.

Hi Barry - Yep, I am not new to this. The method could almost be traded mechanically but I have other approaches. One thing I really like about this approach is it's almost auto hedged, not quite but it leans that way. Being in Australia is a small disadvantage re market hours. I used to day trade US stocks deep into the night but am not up for that anymore so this method looks interesting to try and see how it will fit my day. DD is not really a problem if MM is sensible so I look forward to following this and see how it goes. Cheers and thanks for the methodology - it suits me nicely.

Hi Barry - Have you looked at https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/930790-rba-system

An EA was built before - I ma not sure how effective it was and R4M is not interested in further development of it but worth a look if you are not familiar.

Thanks. Looked at it. My problem is I want something to mirror my own strategy which works and is uncomplicated. I use no stop loss and only 4H charts. That one has too many things to code and is overcomplicated, I think. KISS principle works for me! But thank you anyway!

AltosTrader. Thank you. I looked at and the first indicator will not open (coding probably outdated) and the second is a zigzag as far as I can see. Not useful to me unfortunately, but thank you.

More comment: The take profit at the middle line is not cast in stone. When you see an acceptable profit at a S n R level, close it and take your profit and run! I closed EUR USD and USD CHF manually early this morning before it reached the middle line. I am at around 35% profit for the month now and DD about 3%.
Please remember that the lines repaint all the time and only represent a (useful) point of starting your buys and/or sells. You have to use your head and experience too.

One more thing: I have had upwards of 60 trades open already when the market moves fast!

Good trading.
