You guys are posting really great posts here. Thanks. I am getting back into forex after a break, and it sure feels nice to be a part of this community and get up to speed.

I wish I could stay up this night and trade, but I cant. Entered long TP 1.2261, but I feel the retracement is due any time. I would wait and buy on dips.

DXY 1h Chart shows gap and may try to close it and cause retracement for EU tonight.

We have a DIVERGENCE, but to confirm it, I want to see a second H1 to close the same way.

DXY did NOT make a new weekly low, but EUR DID - that's a divergence as I call it. When it forms - I expect a short term reversal.

May be there is a slip on your side: DXY did not make a new weekly low, but EUR made new weekly high

Why not go short at 1.2270, sl 1.229, tp 1.220? That seems more likely, no?

IF all human "big" traders are on holiday and left the algos alone, we might have the same scenario as yesterday: London open (until noon) marks the high, then down to mark the low, then oscillating inbetween.

I still do not trust the bearish peace (though I would like it). I have a long term fibo (yellow) that defines my trend channel on D1, also I have a short term fibo (blue) based on yesterday's candle. Coincidence?

Hi,
you can look for a better price. I don't do that anymore. If we are somewhere in that area, i take the trade. That's it.
My target is around 1,195 - the old trend line roof (monthly). Such old trendlines from high timeframes work normally like magnets. And, when price is high - I'm selling.
