its a nice reply you have done already. if there is same balance in demo and live , there is a chance to ensure balance between two. but in general traders willing to trade in demo with more balance because no restrict about this.

True. And it creates very unrealistic expectations about their live trading.

Trading is easy for those who have enough knowledge about the market. On the other hand, if anyone doesn't know about the forex market he will fall in danger.

In responding to the thread title, every time you are exploring something new, it is always hard. Why? Because you never knew before and it is your first time trying without having any awareness or knowledge on that exploration. How do we get better? By going training and educating ourselves.
This applies to not just in trading, but everything in life.

Like anything new you're learning to do, you will experience challenges.

But,

The question is, are you committed to mastering the skill that you're pursuing?

And, Who are you learning from?

The problem many pursuing forex encounter is that:

They're attracted to it for the wrong reasons and are often uncommitted.

And they are taught by someone who knows nothing about financial markets and trading but is only an avid scammer trying to take their money.

They hop from scammer to scammer attempting to find the perfect "system" to "make money"

But that approach is a recipe for failure and often the path that many newbies make. I know this because I went through it and began to observe a "trend"

Trading is simple at its core but the gurus complicate it.

I did not begin to make headway in trading until I dedicated my efforts to learning only one strategy and sticking with it.

To see progress even quicker I would add that one should pick only one price action setup/pattern and do not enter the market until it's visible enough for a blind man to see it.

-Find confluence using the tools available to back your trading idea before you enter the market

- Don't follow the herd. Believe it or not, the market almost always goes against the current sentiment i.e if retail traders are net-short the market is bullish.

- Monitor what the Market makers are doing using COT data as it influencing market direction for the long term.

-Give the market a little bit of your capital and aim to take 3 times what you risk... if I give $2.00 am aiming for no less than $6.00

-Set your trade and forget it until your stop loss or take profit is hit. This helps with phycology.

-Follow very strict money management rules. Don't risk what you cannot handle losing.

-Lastly, keep it simple and focus on what price is doing with the help of leading indicators like SR and Fib levels and trendlines. Don't clog up your charts.

Forex can be very difficult to predict. Forex can be unstable and volatile and you can lose your money if you will not follow the trends of the market. If you are winner of this month you can be loser in the next month.

Trading is not difficult, but making a profit is difficult. The amount of money you earn is directly related to your skill in choosing the right assets or currencies and selling them to make a profit at the right time. Many forex traders go all-in in one or two trades and lose their entire account. If they have realistic expectations and achievable goals, then FX trading can be very profitable.

Trading is not hard but when you set some ambitious goals like 100% monthly it becomes really hard because, the higher is expected return the more difficult to find such market fault that exploiting it will generate such profits.

If it were that easy more and more people would be making tons of money. Fake opinions do a wonderful job of convincing newbies that they can make plenty of profits by successfully beating the market. Yes, trading is hard and becoming evermore complex.

Absolutely correct. I've been trading Forex since 2001 . Nothing has made trading easier today than 20 years ago. Not the charting, software, robots or any technology.
The only thing that's helped is the experience and learning what doesn't work.

I can honestly admit that if you gave me a good chunk of money , even over $10k, I couldn't guarantee you I could pay the mortgage every month consistently , it's that difficult.

What I can say is trading Forex with other instruments, stocks, options and futures, I've been able to. I use Forex and currencies sometimes to hedge. When the stock market
tanks, I can almost always count on going Long the USD.

There's a steep learning curve in trading . Forex to me by far is the most difficult market to beat, but I'm glad I started with Forex because it's taught me the dicipline I needed to be profitable.

Forex trading is very easy but risk management and money management need to be followed properly. If that is possible then success is possible.

Of course trading is hard. Trading is a high rewarding work. High reward doesn't come easily. A person needs deep knowledge and understanding of the market to be profitable. He also needs very strong mind set.

Well that depends how is the trader trading and after how much preparation and research. Earning in forex is a little difficult as it takes certain skills and learning, but blowing your account takes a sec and this mostly happens due to the under preparedness of a trader. So how easy or difficult trading is, that entirely depends on how you're taking it.
