For those of you already using FXCM's trading platform you may want to check out forex.com's setup. The look and feel are great and I can do the same automatic half profit limit like FXCM. I noticed also that a mini account only costs $250. Right now I'm using the standard demo and like it alot.

Yes.. I agree, it is nice but the spreads are a killer.

Puts you at a disadvantage the moment you take a position.

Why would someone dig out a 3 year old, irrelevant thread to post on it?

It was one of the first posts--check the date. Must be referring to the old new platform.

True. The original post was made during the same month of Merlin's join date. At that time, I'm sure any correspondence would have been welcome in the interest of getting FF off the ground. The need for ad rules probably came shortly after.

To be honest, their charting leaves a lot to be desired, but if you are in need of a comedy fix, keep a demo open for the commentary

A sort of trading programming used to assist currency traders with forex trading investigation and exchange execution. Currency trading platforms give charts and request taking strategies. Similarly as with trading platforms utilized for trading different securities like stocks or prospects, most can contrast significantly and can change in cost. I am utilizing what suit me and my style best. In any case, I don't think about said trading platform.

Hi Faisal,

You make a good point about how trading platforms can differ greatly. That's why FOREX.com offers traders multiple choices from our proprietary platforms for desktop, mobile and web to third-party platforms like MT4, NinjaTrader and TradingView.

If you have questions about any of the platforms offered by FOREX.com, please let us know.

I have a question. . . why are the four hour candles not synchronized with the New York close at 5pm Eastern? I am using ForexTrader Pro. Is there a way to change this? Or, do any of your other platforms offer the option of adjusting the time of the candle's close?

Hi @beepbop2015,

The reason the 4-hour candles on our FOREXTrader Pro platform aren't in sync with the New York Close (5pm EST) is because these charts are in sync with midnight GMT instead. That means daily candles (and the first 4-hour candle of the day on a 4-hour chart) begin at midnight GMT which is 7pm EST (or 2 hours after the New York Close). This is also the case for charts on the other platforms FOREX.com offers including MT4, NinjaTrader and TradingView.

However, we have noted your interest in having New York Close charts, and this is an option we are actively considering for future updates to our platforms based on feedback from traders like you. We will keep you posted if New York Close charts become available on one or more of our platforms.

Thanks for your questions.

Then is magic number returned for your trade.
They don't seem to be holding on to the magic number sent by you EA
