I was looking at the Spanish Index and viewed this, do they seem like diamonds to you ?

I will add my 2c It has a potential but still looks cripple at least left compared to right although I have to give it some points for waives being in right sequence. Just redraw the thing and you will see. Also lower TF formation are not as reliable perhaps it could of been played safely based on MMD template.

HI Argo, thanks for your more than 2c, as always you offer great value and insight. IT seems the MMOT (minimum measured objective Target ) was met , being the height of the Diamond from the final escape point.
Rather than the templates, I was looking closer at the diamond formation in the Stocks and Commodities which also offers some useful insight into this area

I have been looking at a potential albeit ugly diamond on the asx200 daily the left hand side starts around early feb 18, could be at an interesting position now to possibly get a quicker drop out of it. Not sure if you are looking at this ?

iff this is what you are talking about I dont think this diamond looking formation have any value simply because its in the sideways move. As far as the previous one target for a diamond not necessarily height of the formation but rather full reversal and covering of a previous move or continuation winch is same distance what was made before the formation.

LOL the joke on this thread is on us, the stock market has never been more alive as its been in 2020 and in the last recent. Lots of stocks have been going to the moon. Meanwhile can we really say the same about our Forex Market, ....nah ah

"Igrok" himself has never, in the years he has been intermittently posting on these forums, provided an internally coherent, historically consistent, universally applied definition of a "diamond" or how it's supposed to be traded (assuming such a thing exists, which is a rather big assumption to begin with). Those who sacrificed valuable time and money to buy his book will fail to find such a definition or trading technique there as well, despite past posts by him referring people to his book for more details on how to identify and trade supposed diamonds (at least he was a decent book promoter). But he knows that the vast majority of people here get recycled in rather short cycles, as their money/luck/patience runs out and they get spat out by the FX trading casino, as new fresh, starry-eyed victims come through the through the door. And even many of those who have stayed here for many years are willing to oversee past evidence of trading failure to the degree that they don't even mind the poster who predicted the 'end of the US stock market' returning to post the same nonsense a few years later on the very same thread!

There was no diamond-like shape was formed. The blue supportive trend line was broken instead.

Wait for him to appear after the move is over and post some non-sensical, after-the-fact chart that supposedly proves how he predicted the 50% correction of the March 2020- Jan 2021 leg up which may have started now, because price formed a super-rare triple-diagonal diamond with a reverse bottom and pink stripes, which will all be explained in his next book.

on a bigger picture nothing has changed so far... though it's quite possible that we have already seen historical tops on the DJIA at 31272 last week and on the S&P at 3870 this week...
