It depends on your trading strategy. But before opening trade you should check all the higher time frames. In which time frame you will take entry that depends on you. There is not fixed rules. It is all about what works for you. I personally take entry on H4 or D1 depending on the charts.

Wait for broken trend in 15 minutes
Price must broken moving 50 in 5 minutes
And come back to retest moving 10 or 12
Under or very close to 50 in 5 minutes

If it broken 50 and come to retest 10 under or very close take 10 pips this is scalping trading must fast decision after bring 7 pips st loss must to the opening
