Food for Thought: Breakouts & Retest Areas for Better Buy Opportunities

My H4 chart below can help newbies to pick better areas to buy or sell.. Example is for buying but common sense wise flip the story for sell scenarios and it will still work..

Buying dips towards important S/R areas is important to squeeze more profits but where you decide your S/R levels to be is also crucial. This is my way.. There should always be an angle in your lines that you could detect based on previous angles.. generally these angles don't change much for a period of time.. The rest is to wait for price to come back to it and touch it (yellow areas on chart)... The crux of it is that you will ignore all sorts of choppiness and focus on the touch for a much more efficient entry timing..

Not sure why it goes down, these numbers should support a bull flag breakout to the upside. We had strong Eurozone PMIs this morning and weak US retail sales now, this should definitely weaken the USD, in the current situation a safe haven move would not make much sense.

yes agree, I added to an existing buy position during the dip, let's see how it plays out. I would like to reduce positions soon though, before FOMC and also before other numbers in about an hour.
