Hello my friends, "patience".

One of the big mistakes of traders.

And why?
Because people donīt spend time to learn.

One of the best ways to improve "patience" is:

-- Sit comfortably.
-- Open your chart.
-- Donīt open positions.
-- And watch for 1 or 2 days (study the market) every week.

Patience is needed to stay in the forex market.

Determination is the key to success.

Happiness for all

I would say if you find you are impatient, stay away from trading for a few weeks or months until you can think with a clear business mindset. Impatience and emotional trading would just suck your account dry.You would keep trying more and more trades until it works resulting in more and more losses, in other words, you become a gambler rather than a trader. The more you are not trading the more money you will keep...wait for proper setups.
After some time away, get back into a practice account, but treat it like REAL money. when your system works then start back on the live account. I cant say how many times I followed my system, then the trade would turn to a quick loss and instead of holding on I would close it to prevent further losses. Go back a few days later and i see it would have been profitable if only I have waited and carried out my plan. Again if you here to get rich quick, forex is not for you.
Stop thinking like a retail trader

That is one of the good way to acquire the patience. Demo account helps you to anticipate the win and loss, so you just need to stop anticipating and trade with patience and let the universe take the course and appreciate the result, because it will teach you to understand much better in long run

Be become patient in trading, start treat forex trading as normal business and don't have unrealistic profit expectation. Unrealistic goals leads to over trading. Only open trade if you have enough technical reasons or fundamental. Otherwise practice to sit in the sideline.

After you lose enough money and you've traded for a number of years, you'll realize what you need to do, and do it.

Amen to this. Stay in the game. Trade in sample sizes.

The best way to train your patience however is to eat delicious ice cream very slowly one savory bite at a time

Have a good day!

Most of the traders lose their money because of their impatience nature. They should practice on a demo account to improve their patience.

I believe patience is something which comes with time and experience. All of us have unrealistic expectations on the beginning, but as time passes by we learn the importance of patience.

One way to improve your patience is if you have a checklist you can go through.
Only if the setup meets all your criteria should you enter.
This will also help you enter the best setups.

If you turn a $5 trade into $10, do you view that as a measly $5 profit or an impressive 100% return. The answer usually incidates whether your gambling or trading.
Gamblers tend to be impatient due to lack of trading plan (Note: NOT, trading system). MAKE A PLAN to reduce emotions and start looking at your profits as a percentage instead of value. Transitioning from gambler to trader takes time

To improve patience we need to be realistic. When it comes to forex trading, people become illogical. They want multiply 100$ in a day. Market moves all the time doesn't means all the pips are yours. Be realistic and treat it like a normal business.
