Listed companies amount to less than 10% of currency market. It's irrelevant to stock market. It highly amount to Goods, services and growth.

Think he was saying there are strong fundamental reasons why the Euro is rising relative to the dollar (IE dollar supply rising faster than Euro) despite what the technicals are telling us, that's how I interpreted it anyway. Having worked in asset management I never once saw a fund manager buying a stock on technicals (albeit I'm sure it happens) it was always fundamentals
