Has its pros and cons. The biggest con is that you don't pay a performance fee. In hindsight, that might be a good thing because you will have more profits (if the strategy performs well). BUT, if someone gets paid by performance, they will make sure they ARE indeed performing. They will do their best.
The best managers typically don't use social trading.

So I made the investment and I hope that in 1 year time my results will speak by themselves and I will start to have subscribers. The money that I will get from subscribers will go directly to my trade account in order to increase its value exponentially. I tried them for several months i liked idea that you build track record but honestly i felt income very low . Most subscribers just looking for high return if you in bad period or dd they not stay . I made 40% with 4% DD and only get one subscriber . Also i noticed profitable accounts but with low return and low dd not attract investors. Trading for prop firms much better not stress and you don't have to keep investors satisfy . Probably i will back again later but just for fun . I enjoyed building track record there . But as profitable it's wasn't so good to me also collective2 deduct 50% of fees. So if you sell your strategy with 100$ you get 50$ only. And if you increased fees not everyone will going to pay high fees.
I will give it a try for 1 year or 2. 2 years cost $780, so it is not a big investment and I think it is worth to try. And this might also help me to get more business on other fronts. By any chance do you have any experience in becoming a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) as a non-US resident? If possible it would be great to have a step-by step guide.
