Very cool strategy. Big-Giant Thanks for sharing.
I think some pair can have lower pip amount on the body and lower target. Like 90 pip candle and 25 pip TP.
Will be doing some testing on the system. Looks to be very promising.

TP hit USDCHF, I used bodysize of 50 since USDCHF has an average bodysize of 24.

I also made a scanner, measures the average bodylength over the last 25 days and highlights the ones that are twice in lenght current and previous day.

Thanks for the scanner, but it does not work on pairs having a suffix.
Are you able to fix this issue?

Try this one, if you mean like EURUSDm ?
then put "m" in the suffix input.

Probably wiser to use a BSmult setting of 2.5 instead of 2.0
6-7 trades coming up if numbers keep up the next 30 minutes.

Goal is the 100% target of the candle body in pips, current is what it at now.
Goal is calculated from candlebody average over BScount days multiplied by BSMult.

So with a BSCount of 20 and BSMult of 2.5, it just means that the candlebody size has to be 2.5 bigger than the average candlebody size over the last 20 days.
And that is the Goal value.

unfortunately the odds with this strategy are lousy....you are risking 1,250 pips (= 25% of the account) for a 50 pip profit.....not good, unless better profit taking and a well thought out SL are implemented.....

Yes this is the risk. I think this strategy is successful only if the risk management and tolerance is high, at the same time better to have a more aggressive TP (eg trail stop). And most importantly pick a few high chance pairs to trade, as the equity DD can be high and unable to trade multiple pairs with one acc.

previously I was interested in this strategy and did some backtesting, the win rate for a few pairs in the past 3 years were averaged at >80% (mkt condition changed in last 4 months, less trade ops but even higher win rate). the rest were mostly BE, very rarely a real loss.

Assuming your SL TP is 50:1250 after spread, if there are more than 25 winning trades vs 1 losing trade, the result is still positive.

agree with you tommy.....the most likely candidate for a single pair for an account seems to be GBP/JPY......around 80 trades per year with a return of 20% per year.....

agree. After all it is a bit like gambling no doubt, but not meaning it cannot be profitable. GJ is one pair with higher win rate.

At the end really need your own strategy which is different from the original DOS to lower risk and increase growth (goal is to at least cover any loss)
20% is definitely possible in Jan-Nov 2020, but not with original rules, which is less than that but still in green.
