its all about the daily close right now.
to many thing pointing on 1.1972 area, but i see 1.21
took a short, here 1.204 for the rest of the day.

My thoughts exactly... We could even see 1.195x-1.197xx. Am confidently holding my shorts at 1.20439 and a few down the road till tomorrow. We have also hit a support turned resistance on my system, so am expecting a drop to probably first support for tomorrow when 1.2000 will be broken

1.2060 is the red line, above there would be something to target no more than 1.2090s but not today.
On downside, 1.2010s in contact, basing below will mean much deeper retrace to 1.1940s

my SL at 1.2082

trade sold@ 1.2018...

pray it won't cross that line or else...

I would appreciate it if someone tell me my SL won't be crack open for next 6 hours or more so I can get a good night sleep...

You could have closed it around 1.2034. Now it's late.
Never trade without sl. Control it under your sl. It shouldn't be more than 30 pips, which is 1/3 rd of average daily moves of eurusd.

Potential Daily S/R Levels for the Near Future

  1. 1.2065 is roughly the quarter line inside my Pitchfork-ish channel and might provide resistance for this week! (It is not a perfect pitchfork because there was no solid reference level where the channel should rules wise start.. I tried to align the channel edges to the most significant highs and lows..)
  2. If 1.2065 area turns into support bulls have the potential to go all the way up to 1.2350 area..
  3. Bears would try to drop price back below the median line of channel: 1.1900 area..

Long story short: For now we should focus on if 1.2065 area will resist or not! I hope it helps

Nobody can answer this with absolute certainty
When a pair exceed daily range, it's harder to tell how far it would go
Yesterday i lost some too because it break my SL by 7 pips ..

I never said it won't go down. It'll be in a range until LO. DXY is in a vulnerable place right now. 91.40 - 90.95 is the bottom IMO. Any bounce and daily close above 91.60 I'll be happy to load up.
Right now, just hold everything off.

Guys you have to be on the right side of the trend ............ else the risk of one day going into oblivion will never go away.
Counter trend trades may be profitable in short term but they are not worth it in the long run... they are for suckers.....
Buy or sell ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, both must be along the trend..... even if yr sl get hit.... that is far far far .... better than any other forms of risk laden approach.......
In Conclusion: Practice to read trend .......improvement in trading comes from improvement in trend reading....... until this is achieved ...... trading shouldn't be seriously started.

its sometimes my estimation runs high and I never thought it will break the norms and that's why I did posted up saying Ata is the sage of something coz he has been predicting it will cross the 1.2 line... but damn that cross over has been too overestimated on my balls...

Lool..it should retrace to 1.2010s if not today..by tomorrow
Although trend is bullish, but current market price to 1.2090s is Monthly resistance zone, meaning big amount of pips for retracement.
You can't compare its SL to 1-4 hour or less time frames, since TP is way bigger.

Set TP and Go sleep/relax .
