GBPUSD is playing so terrible lately. It's my opinion. I was expecting to see something else on this pair, but the bears are coming in future, not now.

I don't know if I'll be present during preUS and pit session: if it will liquidate in these last 2 periods or if it will test spike probably I will be out for a while. have a nice continuation.

So yesterday before preUS open I was wandering around, wondering what in the hell was stopping that GB action to continue higher: value moved higher, I had no resistance above 3269 toward 3297 (but an old Tokyo January high 32665) and it was not going higher.
Then we saw preUS and Pit balancing all day long just to finish all action 1 single pip above GB high, exactly at 32735 and making a new poor high at 3278!

Now a few words about current situation: we are in a Monthly attempted rally from inside month balance (both in GB and Pit), we are in a weekly balance and in a daily trend upside (both in GB and Pit). The structure we left downside, as underlined many times, is more than ugly. At the same time the job upside doesn't look like finished yet as I find very difficult to imagine these 2 back to back pit poor at 3278 and 3297 left in place while coming back inside monthly balance.

So I think that this market is overall extraordinary weak and poor of strong participants and now more than normally we must take it a piece at a time, like we did in the last days, taking care of the major references with high attention disregarding minor ones and, especially, keeping into great consideration value as the main guide for our action.

Yes extraordinary market, I am just haven’t placed any trade yet thoughts more on downstairs but as you mentioned looking at major levels for reference to make next move

Now, for upcoming GB session the refs are downside:

  1. yes GB high 3272
  2. current Tokyo poor low 32525
  3. yesterday GB close 3234
  4. GB Jan high 3230
  5. Brexit low 3227
  6. 2019 GB close 3194
  7. Yes GB open 31715
  8. GB inside month high 31615 (the break level of current attempted rally upside from monthly balance)

while upside:

  1. the terrible Back to back GB highs at 3319 (possible first target in case of continuation upside)
  2. the major monthly value area top at 3340 (if something will go seriously wrong upside it can be above this level)

Now, if this is good, 3319 is almost sure. But I do not understand why it is suffering so much at overnight high. So, take care.

A new test of yes high 3272? If so this is one of the most trickiest sessions of the last weeks.

We got no acceptation below yes GB high 3272, nor below today open3276 and we have a good target at 3319. So I do not understand why it is not rallying yet

Also value is building higher from yesterday. So, if it will go down from here, it can be a liquidation. But I really will consider this very strange considering the situation.
