For option 2, no leaving of massive numbers of floating trades/losses like many frauds try to do! If the income/withdrawal is made every month, then most, if not all trades should be cleared at the point of income generation/withdrawal.

Profit amount apart and assuming you are using the exact same trading ... then both answers will be achieved.

Difficulty will be more on the mental side for some traders ... especially trading a big capital.

It seems to me that it is much harder to turn small capital into large capital - and there is a fairly accurate explanation for this. When you have a small amount in your account - you can't afford any serious steps in the market and you are quite limited in your choice of interesting strategies. You constantly need to control every decision and you actually have no right to make a mistake. And if you let at least 10 percent of your capital drawdown, it may already be the reason why you will gradually lose the rest of your capital if you face some speculation or serious technical analysis. After all, as you know, the capital reserve is key in many business lines...
It's harder to generate consistent results from a big capital. Cause you gonna be moving the market. Thereby increasing transaction cost and narrowing your profit margin.
When you see it, BET big.

So with this in mind, should you hit a large capital from trading forex, would you divest and acquire other financial assets such as bonds as an alternative?

Barnell,

A good trader makes on average 0.5% per day safety so if you only have a $500 account - thats $2.50 per day.
if you are trading $100,000 account - thats $500 per day.

You can take some money out of your account just to cover margin plus a bit extra for safety, which is what I do often.
But trading stocks is more profitable for most traders.

The stock market is not as random as Forex. You can trade based on news and macro economics and you capture huge multiyear trends.
Even from purely technical point of view the stock market as a whole is biased to the upside. It tends to trend up because most companies increase in value over time. Also the pension funds and central banks constantly pump money into stocks. This happen in waves every few months.

The Forex market on the other side is mostly random. The currency pairs cannot increase in value. There is no single value. It's just balance between 2 currencies. It's like generating a random chart with perfect 50% probability. Short term the price goes all over the place. But long term the price is confined by the 50% central point so it is bound to revert to the mean sooner or later.
For many traders, achieving stability is a real headache. And it's not the size of capital that matters, but knowledge, experience and attitude that matters.
I think that the list of difficulties in this area can be endless - stress, emotions, excitement, rush, wrong strategy, wrong time of exposure, etc. I think that my colleagues can add many more items. So I think that in any situation you need to understand individually, based on the personal and professional features of each trader. But in general, this is a good question to think about and to evaluate your own work right now and to draw some conclusions for the future.

You can diversify but you have to be careful about correlation. Honestly even at high capacity, a good trader can still average 20-30% per year which is higher than the returns on bonds. But with a small capital ,leverage and guts you can grow quickly.

I strongly agree, I believe that investment in human capital by allocating more resources to education and training is widely regarded as critical to the success of developing and developed economies.
