I like to listen to some smooth jazz even though most people don't listen to jazz these days When iI am trading I require a lot of concentration and it helps me to concentrate. i keep the volume on low because i just want it to be background music. Most people find it best to keep at that. I also stick to jazz without any vocals because that would just be distracting. I need my inner voice to be the only thing speaking at that time. I also stay in a quiet environment without any other sound expect my music and maybe my mouse clicking. It keeps me engaged on my work and make the best decisions.

I do not listen to music because I find music to be very distracting when I am trying to come up with the best strategy to make sure that my trades all work out and I am not stuck in a pickle. Music is good for some but not all that claim it is good for the,. Some people listen to music so that he cnanot get bored as forex tradign is not the most interesting work and especially if you do it every day for long hours. It is therefore very easy to get bored and the music helps to keep that boredom im check. If music will not distract you then you should listen while you trade or make your plans for later.
