Disliked{quote} Hello Smilee89, May I ask how you would handle GBPUSD in March? I manually backtested DOS and found probably blew 25% in mid-March. How did your strategy got out of it? Thanks Rules strictly following the original DOS, lot size was as recommended, so by calculation, the maximum Drawdown in pips was ~-1500. Add: Sorry. I have got the wrong time on my chart coz I was looking more closely the PA in H4. Yes DOS survived that pit in MarchIgnored
Disliked{quote} I backtested a dual-cycle DOS, all rules same except body size adjusted with volatility (100pip) and added an extra "Day loop" at 12 hr apart. This way the DOS got caught by the great move in March and needed to bail out based on the DOS exit plan. Still, it is a gain. This is a manual backtest but the result should be very similar in actual trade environment. Discount 90% for slippage/increased spread, DOS should be pretty fun to work with. Disliked{quote} I set my order EA on 30 pips, maybe there is a glitch there. I know minimal body size not according to conditions, like I said just testing using the ADR 20 day.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Check yourself: it is 3 pips (30 points maybe) but it is not 30 pips for sure. And also, next time show entries and exits on different pairs charts BEFORE you upload any other history results.Ignored

DislikedAm I right? One of the results you showed that the system made 70 percent from 2010 to 2019? If that is the case, why do you bother? Just put your money in blue chip stock or government bond, you will do better and no headaches with million positions opening and closing.Ignored
DislikedI think the theory is that you can multiply this with other pairs but lets see how it goes and when we have some EA to backtest. I am concerned on no SL policy apart from 25% acc balance. It then takes only 4 pairs tanking at the same time to wipe the account. Also, if 25% is lost - then how long it would take to recover the 33% gain needed for BE level again? {quote}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yah my point is that its not worth the time and effort if you're not turning over your balance quick enough. So if you can blow your account with only 4 trades, than you should be able to double your account within a short period of time. This way you can split your account into different accounts. Lets say you have 5 different accounts($1000 each) and you blow 3 of them but you double the other 2, you would lose $3000 but gain $4000 netting $1000 in total. But if you are doubling your account in 9 years and risking blowing...Ignored

Disliked{quote} I read the trading rules of the system in the first post and it looks simple. I can code this system on MQL5 in about 1 hour no problem. Maybe I can post it here for other people to test?Ignored

Disliked{quote} Before you upload any EA, run some tests for different pairs and upload some screenshots to demonstrate its executions first (entries and exits of different pairs charts).Ignored
Disliked{quote} First test on version 1.0 28 pairs from 2010 - 2020. {image} And for the best result individual test on GBPJPY from 2008 - 2020. {image} {image} Overall the system is weak. Best result is GBPJPY 70% in 10 years. Will see if I can pull some better results with more optimizations.Ignored
