Is this a trend following strategy you are illustrating? I though the DOS is more reversal-style.

yes i prefer trend following strategy. it is not exactly the same as DOS strategy in this thread, but could be much safer, i have seen pairs moving 10 days, 15days, even 20 days in 1 direction, it will eat lots of your margin when that happen. anyway good luck to DOS user

Did some preliminary testing. I think a fixed body size is better than floating, and evaluate and adjust from time to time manually is best.

same rule, but using hourly chart to do all the daily DOS enables some time shifting to avoid high spread. I am trying to do two 24-hr (daily) loops, 12 hours apart to fit my daily routine, seems working but not really tested yet. Winning will be in streaks and I am figuring out a way to get away from DD better

Anyone thought about adding 2 or more days together to get 100 pips then reverse. Its only an idea.

Rules strictly following the original DOS, lot size was as recommended, so by calculation, the maximum Drawdown in pips was ~-1500.

Add: Sorry. I have got the wrong time on my chart coz I was looking more closely the PA in H4. Yes DOS survived that pit in March

Starting to look very promising, I used ADR 20 to calculate bar size just as a test and below are the results.
