Here is the Daily with divergence. Also I marked where the Platinum crosses 0. So if Plat is above, PA is going up, if it is below, PA is going down. Do you see how divergence before the trend change?

So if you marked the daily with vertical lines on the crossings, essentially you can use that as confirmation for the 4H and get the dips/rally's. If daily has red vertical, then on 4h you want to enter when the Plat is above 0 so you can short.

Essentially you need to train yourself to trade what the chart shows you, not what you think, or believe, or hope. etc. This is why I said trading should be boring. The profit is fun, but it should be expected. Losing should be rare or minimized.

With Pivots & Divergence on chart, notice a common pivot on entering with trend?

Just a simplified way to look at this.

Here is a side by side comparison of the 30M and 4H chart to demonstrate how price moves. Things to note, I had to zoom out quite a bit on the 30M to highlight the 3 dips. Also, the zero lag MACD is the same settings as my Platinum, so don't mistake the indicator for being different. So you see how the MA's cross on the 30M to build the 4H dip? I wanted you to have an example of what happens when price is moving back to the MA's on the 4H. This can also be done on the Daily and 4H, as well as other timeframes. Keep in mind there are 8 30M candles on 1 4Hr candles, 6 4Hr candles on 1 Daily candle. So don't do this on a 30M chart and 15M chart expecting the same accuracy because there would only be 2 15M candles per each 30M candle.

Please look at your chart and find the dips/rally's on a pair using the same method when MA's flip on 4H and 30M charts. Mark the area on the 30M and then look at your 4H. How accurate were you on finding the dips/rally's. Now you see why we enter when price is in the MA's and trade away from them on the 4H.
