Hello r4m - maybe you could send me a bit of the "lean and mean". :-) Dunno if such would help cja. as the changer is public release Could it strip out some functionality for cleanup etc. ? However, as mentioned above in 339 I have a totally different workaround by having multiple charts which can be marked up. There is a very old EA which allows one to call existing, or if not exist, create, a new chart from a user defined profile - the advantage being of course that these can be marked up as they do not get lost when you switch from them - they continue exist with all markups, Fibs. trendlines etc etc - that is hugely helpful, but that EA is ancient, looks it and is glitchy so I don't use it - frustrating. @AltosTrader -- the code in the OnDeinit() routine is very specific for each EA and indicator. It would be up to the software's author to determine if it was really necessary or could be coded in a different way.

Hi Cja, is it possible to add an option to apply changes to another terminal...?

i know there is a "trade copy" software, so when you trade on one terminal, it copies the trade to the other terminal regardless of the broker, etc.... the other(slave) terminal has to have some files to follow the master terminal...

So i don't know if you can add that sort of function to the symbol changer...thanks in advance, happy trading.

Good morning to everybody.
For some time, this thread has been looking for a way to draw objects in the graphs and that these objects remain independent for each graph.
Md Belal Hossain uploaded a free indicator to achieve this and it is working properly.

We can use the symbol changer in conjunction with this indicator.

Sorry, I just tried another symbol changer.
By nature of this indicator, it deletes all the chart objects that correspond to it.
I work with another symbol changer. But I only change the graphics with the arrows on my keyboard.

Please CJ mod this indicator to "Symbol Auto Changer base on open trades". It will be nice if symbols auto change after 30 Seconds.

You do know there is a v5 on the same post, button was added in v5.1 ?

Hi all, great indicator. I was wondering if there is a way to change the pair on multiple charts.

You see I use 2 windows, a M15 and H4 view for my analysis. Therefore it would be great if I click on a symbol in the symbol changer indicator that it also changed the symbol on the other window.

Is that possible?

I personally do not have the time to make a MT5 version but I believe if you do a search on this forum there is a similar indicator coded in MT5.

I guess it would be possible but then you get into the issue with how many chart windows do you want to change and how to control which charts etc and I simply do not have the spare time at present to even consider looking at it. I do not know how your trading analysis is setup but can you not click on the M15 and H4 buttons to change the chart and use the symbol buttons to change the symbol?

Yes it is possible with a third party indicator that can "Chart Group" the pairs together (by symbol).

I will not provide any links as they are mostly ones that you have to pay for. Some brokers offer a free Chart Group indicator with their MT4 enhanced versions.

A quick web search will put you in the right direction.

yeah I understand, no problem. I do click now on the pair symbol on both charts onto the button to change the pair on both charts. Thanks anyway or the fast response!

whenever i draw my chart and then close and reopen my MT4 my drawing is all broken. i have to redraw it again and again. can you please tell me a solution???
