Thought I would put a thread together (similar to Tuxtrader) for some of the MT4 indicators and EA's I've had developed.

If anyone finds any of them useful then that's a win for me.

For any bugs, general feedback or feature requests feel free to post them below. I am not a coder but I can possibly reach out to the devs for any fixes.

Switch_Symbols_V1

Features:

  1. Changes Symbol (all charts) to next or previous using Left or Right Arrow (either keyboard or onscreen arrows.)
  2. Change Timeframe up or down (across all timeframes of same symbol) using Up or Down Arrow (keyboard or onscreen arrows).

You can set symbol list to use either MT4 Marketwatch or a Custom List.

Indicator works just off a single chart but can go on all if preferred.

Example - If you have EU (D1/H4/H1/M15) you can flick to GU (D1/H4/H1/M15) with a single right arrow click or Left/Right keyboard press, plus cycle through as many pairs as needed.

Pressing UP Arrow (or keyboard Up/Down) will change to EU (W1/D1/H4/M30). Down arrow will change to EU (H4/H1/M30/M5)

It works with other chart cycling indicators.

Do not use it on a chart with any EA attached as it will cause terminal to freeze temporarily.

EA to Protect Account.

Put this EA on your terminal (ideally installed on a VPS or another PC out of reach) and it will protect your account from disaster, or just a bad day at the office!

This EA will:

Close all open trades at "X" percentage floating equity draw-down (6% default.)
Close all open trades at "X" percentage daily balance loss (6% default.)

It will also instantly close every attempt to place further trades until the following day.

Additionally it can:

Allow "X" amount of open trades at any given time per pair (5 default.)
Allow "X" amount of total trades taken per day. (20 default.)

*Blank.ex4 is needed for below window display*
*EA needs loading on every symbol traded for the max open trades feature to work*

As always, please demo it heavily in advance.

Risk Management Info Panel

An essential utility for keeping track of account exposure, leverage used and overall account risk, assuming you have stops in place.

There are many configurable settings to play around with.

It can be used as part of of a larger dashboard or just have the headers showing at the bottom of the chart.

Trades Indicator

Displays total amount of trades taken per day on the chart.

Very useful if you need a quick visual of how many times you've hit the buy / sell button that day. A nice heads up to help avoid over trading. I had it developed primarily to work with the protect EA above.

Displays Symbol or All Symbols.
Digits will turn Orange at "X" trades. Default 10.
Digits will turn Red at "X" number of trades. Default 20.

Can be moved anywhere on the chart (inc sub window where I use it).

Counter resets at midnight broker time. It is purely informational.

Close Info buttons (Plus additional SL/TP/BE/Remove features)

This indicator can totally replace the MT4 trade terminal when it comes to manually closing trades.

Each buy or sell order (inc stop/pending) becomes an info button displayed below chart that you can click to instantly close. It can display profit / loss, pips, both, all symbols or just one.

You can set the buttons to turn Green / Red after "X" positive or negative pips.

There are loads of configurable options to play with. It took a long time, a lot of money and many revisions to get right, even down to the ordering of the buttons on the bar. The dev working on this was a genius.

C12_buttons goes in Indicators folder.
Close_Script goes in Scripts folder (both are needed).

Make sure to thoroughly test this one on a demo. This indicator can be very addictive so demo until the novelty wears off.

Happy new year everyone.

Thought I'd upload a version of the Close Script for the above Close Info Buttons trade manager.

This version will give you a confirmation before closing an order, just in case you have a touch screen device and fat fingers like me.

C12_AutoZoom

Another indicator that you never knew you needed until now.

You can set an initial default zoom level for every time-frame which makes it easier for rapid multi-TF analysis.

The indi is extremely light and causes zero lag. Enjoy.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful indicator.

When you have time, please code an indicator to show total trading costs (both sides pips of spread and both sides pips value of Commission $ ) and compare it with total Trading Range in pips as displayed with ADR.

It would be great if even in small TF like one hour the indicator may be able to show ADR proportionally reduced for TF starting from 30 minutes to 1440 minutes.

Happy to hear you find this one useful. Unfortunately I have zero coding skills.

With most of these indicators I paid various freelance coders to put my ideas together.

I use them all. The Switch Symbols and the Close Info Buttons are ones I cannot work without.

Here are a few more PA tools. Not mine but others will get benefit from these:

ClickMax_V2 - Double or Triple click to maximise or minimise a chart.
Hotkeys_slim_fixed - Numbers 1-9 on chart to rapidly change TF.
Toggle Borders - Adds a button to hide / unhide chart borders. Extra real estate for multi chart viewing.

Here's a modified version of the Protect Account EA with an option to close all trades if "X" floating / closed is reached in that day based on currency value.

Those that are trading on FTMO will never fail the daily loss limit objectives if you apply this EA... Sorry FTMO for releasing this.

You can also set a max position size as well to prevent you trying to slip in a cheeky 40 lot on a revenge trade.

The trading time filter doesn't seem to work but the dev wants more cash to fix that for some reason. Might sort that eventually.

This one with borders was great, I always thought it was a waste.
C12_HLine Alert

Here's another indicator i had tweaked so you can have a horizontal line audio alert on each pair.

The old version kept repeating the WAV file over and over. This version tidies up that problem.

C12 Chart Scroll

Another indicator you never knew you needed until now. One I fudged together from another indicator and fixed up.

You can do a quick left scroll and back again without MT4 chart flickering. I have no idea why MT4 doesn't do this by default.

One to put on every single chart.

Christmas has arrived early for users of Switch_Symbols_V1

This version adds an auto switch feature with an adjustable countdown timer and a moveable button. It also works fine with the original V1.

Switch_Symbols_V2

New Features:

 

  1. Clickable button to pause, resume and change chart switch timer.
  2. PgDN to Pause and PgUp to resume also.


This version can be very useful if monitoring a lot of pairs, to make use of a spare screen or for those with RSI (repetitive strain injury)
