atm testing daily R1 1.186 before London open
last two days price climb above easily.
but didnt manage to test R2

today R2 is 1.89

The price is showing signs of a need for a sharp retracement on my end, much later than usual, but still.

Will not underestimate this trend nonetheless.

Got a bear scalp amid my buys for the first time this second. Felt it in my stomach.

As long as that price stays above my channel, I can't go for more then the smallest trailing atr while scalping down.

Have to that trend as long as we can !
If I don't mention SL and/or TP = longer-term setup possibly in the works!

Correction: Marking 1.1839 as nearest support.. Bulls didn't show weakness yet..

Max 3-7 pips on scalps in these conditions. Riding the trend with for the rest. Its not as easy as it used to be. Good lasting trends used to happen more often, no ?

Don't forget to pay attention to the overbought conditions at the current conditions, maybe the price will approach the closest support line and then on its way back. regards

Hey ATA, the weekly S/R also disappointed me, but the fact is that the sentiment is against the dollar presently due partly to investor bullish stance on stock, expecting positive stimulus package(that can change so quickly), and also swiss bank is being labelled currency manipulator. But once the investors realise that stimulus is not coming soon, there will be sharp and heavy selling of this pair, just watch out. We need to consider the sentiment first, and then use technicals for entry

We are right back at a resistance against which the price struggled around for all of august and september. Hoping we can stay out of that mess. Nothing against such ranging but common, I feel we could use the change of dynamic.

Fair enough.. but I really don't care much for fundamentals.. My H1 chart already was screaming "go long" at 1.1733 but with effect of weekly unfortunately I could switch to bullish very delayed around final pullbacks to 1.1771, after price had visited 1.1790 area and stopped me out badly.. After that I recovered my losses though but long story short if I just had followed my H1 chart the technicals there would naturally guide me north.. That's why I never will care for fundamentals.. (except when important news and numbers come out)..

I was looking at that too. I'll wait. I need a good failed attempt to make new highs in the midst of some good volatility. But not soon, we didnt even get out of the high, surprisingly. Yet, nothing should surprise us anymore

*1.1878 is my nearest resistance on H1 and 1.1916 on Daily!

That 10h55 impulse bar right after the subtle but sometimes strong divergence is usually NOT good for continuation of trend.

Unless it follows through above 1870 in the next 12m, Im setting up an intraday countertrend.

Your 20-40 pips Gatenio would then be most welcome !

If I see H1 candles closing below 1.1847 I can join the scalper sell party.. but for now still early.. (I am also aware that a huge bearish wave c -based on weekly- might be lurking behind the scenes..)
