Disliked{quote} No, that’s a good explanation and thank you, but Ganns division of the impulse wave I have found to be very accurate, especially for Gbp and crosses. I have used MM also in the past and can see it is effective in a lot of cases....so my question would be, since Gann focused on the impulse wave using several methods like square root, octaves , fibs et, should I deviate from his teaching that “It all Begins with an Impulse Wave”. (Parisboy knows his stuff I do believe)Ignored
Disliked{quote} Pnaveen, I have seen you post a lot of charts with so much stuff on them that I do not know how one can actually trade them without Einstein sitting next to you or maybe Nancy Pelosi....OK bad analogy perhaps .....but these are not simple charts you must admit. Simple is just as effective as complicated if one takes their time and really know the currency they are trading. Maybe you have a phd. in physics, but I do not, so we gonna see how accurate your charts are against my simple ones...I have marked Oct 29 as an important turning point...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hai swede It's just simple I am taken the first impulsive swing high from low and all other squares just at the same square right corner but make sure manual square without scale is not a good idea... my charts always scaled and my squares also scaled with one particular value/pip. all other lines are just rays of last/recent squares... look again do you have other dates too...{image}Ignored

Disliked{quote} First of all its nice to see your reply, thank you! I have two questions for you......1. Mt4 charts are difficult to scale...I just get one scaled properly and then something happens to touch the toggle on the RHS and then you have to do it all over again....in other words you cannot lock it into scale, and if you change from 5 min to 1 hour the scale is out once again. So my question to you is how do you scale your chart, what method do you use and how do you keep it in scale without repeating the process every time you login? 2....I know...Ignored
Disliked{quote} 1- nothing is impossible if know then very easy ....if you don't know then always difficult..... whole gann world strugling to scale mt4 its like magic but not .. 2- yes its right one scale can work on one time frame m5/m15/m30.....daily weekly all different... if you know once any currecies scale then no need to scale again again ....suppose 15-30min 1:1 scale is ok for all currecies ...h1/h4/daily 1:2,1:4-6, 1:8-12 .....there is way to fix that ....its part of my paid course .. 3- there is tools is available for auto scale fixed...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Swede You do a brilliant job with your posts and rational and so does Parisboy his detail in answering questions is quite amazing but there are many ways to skin a cat We all have different expectations of a trade , think of it like this We can all drive a car but some press the accelerator a little heavier than others, some like to take leisurely cruise on long journeys, some like to go at breakneck speeds on short ones, as long as we all get to our destination safely we are all winners ps Not t oo sure why you have a problem looking...Ignored

Disliked{quote} You and parisboy are being too hard on me, Im just a country boy and your crushing me, my ego cant take it lol lol. Listen I preach all time the need to have your long term perspective in place....I wont trade with out a glance at my daily charts at the minimum, usually a quick look at the weekly also, even if Im entering on the 5 min chart.....where I have the problem is looking back 20 years or more.....long before Brexit, Covid19, Donald Trump, Margaret Thatcher, Iran/Iraq and the Bush Administration....my point...Ignored
Disliked{quote} After careful analyses of course....just the last engulfing candle would alert me to a probable continuation of trend....but I would have to toggle down to the 1 hour, 5 min chart before pulling a trigger, and of course if I have to set my stop loss more than 1.1 I would pass until the ratio could be met.... I think you misunderstood my posts regarding long long term analyses.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Swede I think you miss my point, you have obviously spotted that it is a monthly over 15 years , my point is that could it be the cost to do a trade that governs what timeframe we trade To me, be it Angles, Squares, Support, Resistance, Swing Points, Levels of any kind it all boils down to trading Breakouts and working out the cost to do the trade FX not cheap In and out like a rabbit seems to be the most popular way, but not really sure its the most cost effective This will be my last post regarding FX as to me I have reached a time of...Ignored
