Also anyone get experience with Dukascopy and Tickmill for their ECN? It seems that Dukascopy is true ECN as it allows people to view the order book though it is expensive if you use MT4 platform. For myself I am using ICM with no issues, not getting requotes from them yet haha.
Both Dukascopy and Tickmill are award-winning true ECN brokers.

I hear ya, FX view does sound like a discount broker but hard to believe they are ECN with those low commission charges. BlackBull has taken great care of me is all I can say. Best do your research and good luck to you sir!
Look for a broker who offer variable ECN spreads rather than fixed spreads with low commission

ya, surely it is hard to believe low commission and ECN, but sounds interesting and would give it a try. the deposit is just 10 euros. So i think a couple of 100 euros will prove if they are really worth..
update—the registration was quite smooth and my account was verified within a couple of hours…impressive…now looking to fund and start trading…will keep you all updated here

Note that ECN/NDD etc. are all terms that only relate to the handling of your trade between your trading platform and your broker.
Once the broker has your trade they might execute it in various ways in their internal trade management, which will give you the fastest execution, or push it out to one of their Liquidity Providers (LP) which will take slightly longer, then if they don't want your trade on their accounts they'll push it out to the Interbank market and your execution will be slower.
If you're highly profitable, by that I mean making 1'000's, not 10's or 100's, they will probably set your account to always do this and you will have permanently slower execution.
If you're thinking that ECN means that all your trades are always placed directly on the Interbank market because of something stated on your broker's web pages, then you need to go and have a thorough read of their T&C's...
There are a few brokers that actually do this with all trades, though they are rare, and certainly don't offer 500:1 leverage.

Looking for a broker to go live and stumbled across FP Markets recently ,their spreads, commission costs are seem lower when compared with other similar brokers.

Wanted to know if they really are a ECN broker and if they are reliable to trade with?

They either make the market for you or hedge trades of their clients with another market maker (liquidity provider). This is how it basically works. I don't care if FCA broker runs MM against me because they are properly audited.
Do retail traders even know what ECN really means

ECN brokers are non-dealing desk brokers, meaning that they do not pass on order flow to market makers. Instead, they match participants in a trade electronically and pass the orders to liquidity providers.

Now does your broker offer any proof that they actually pass your trades to market. Or all that they do is take the other side of the trade.

Remember your order can be filled with one liquidity provider and closed by another.

So all your broker should be doing should be to facilitate the trade through their interbank ECN network and then offer maybe a statement upon request on how the orders were filled.

ECN intermediaries are agents that utilization electronic correspondence organizations (ECNs) that help customers straightforwardly access cash markets. While they offer straightforwardness and profound liquidity, ECN frameworks are more costly when contrasted with conventional Forex frameworks.
