i wanna find out if the statistics is right about it, so let;s say for the last 3 months did you 1) lose money 2)make money and in your opinion, do you agree that the only side who makes money on forex is FX companies themselfs, and of course Interbanks.

say for the last 3 months did you 1) lose money No 2)make money Yes and in your opinion, do you agree that the only side who makes money on forex is FX companies themselfs, and of course Interbanks. No I disagree..

Also it is more like 95% of traders lose money or are break even (more or less) in 5 years or less. Most businesses fail within 5 years of starting. Trading in Forex is a business.

I don't think there is exact data. But for the long term olny 5% to 10% people can consistent profit over the years. Rest are losers or occasionally make some money and then lose it.

Forex is dynamic and unpredictable. It's next to impossible for anyone to make profits all the time. There is an element of risk involved in trading, sometimes so much so that it is inevitable. Successful trading is all about minimizing the risk and learning to increase the possibility of winning.

Still they don't disclose the timeframe they used. For example if we choose sample of traders who continued to trade for 1 year (be active for one year), the ratio of winners to losers should be higher since it's reasonable to expect that the share of losers who lost, refilled deposit, again lost ...etc. declines as the time goes. But for 2-3 month the share of traders who lost should be much higher.

Yes, this is exactly 90% of the trader's loss. But if they think positively and focus on trading education with patience, they can develop into a profitable trader. The more research and information you collect, the more accurate the trading analysis will be. So first you have to learn to trade.

Well, the current popular figure is 95% lose and 5% win. I am not sure if that is accurate. I haven't seen any concrete data on that.

Yes, some even say that this number goes as far as 99% to 1%. I think it may have started as a warning to newcomers so that they may take trading seriously and eventually became a catch-phrase.

Most traders lose their money because of their low knowledge about forex and lack of forex skills.
