I'm a little late to the show but here nonetheless. Thank you for all the time and effort you've put into this strategy! Also a student of ICT's work, I've always had issues with entries and I feel the 3BFB is the missing link I've been looking for. I am grateful!!

Personally, I trade futures and about 3 weeks in I have found the 3BFB entry amazing thus far (indexes, gold, occasionally forex major futures, haven't plunged completely into the world of forex..... yet). I am still exploring your Monday/Tuesday range & EMA strategies but haven't quite gotten the handle of it, still back testing.

I did want to share what has been working nicely for me in the few weeks I've been exposed to this strategy just to emphasize your point that the 3BFB entry can be used creatively as we see fit.

1H-15M Strategy:
1. On 1H, identify when price dips/rises into an ICT order block. I am currently using EMA's to assist in directional bias.
2. On 15M, identify 3BFB within the order block and enter on the break of bar 4.
3. Currently placing my SL at 50% of the range from the low/high in the order block to the low/high of bar 4. (In the short time I've been exploring this, I've just found this to be the sweet spot to get out with a 2:1 reward/risk ratio, still a work in progress)
4. I also move my stop to BE when price action closes past the 1:1 mark currently as I am still testing the strategy and trying to keep my risk low as I continue to explore.
5. Optionally, I will keep a runner on after 2:1 is hit and trail stop 2 fractals behind price (another ICT strategy). Or trail it behind by 1 standard deviation depending on how I feel.
6. I only enter on Tuesday-Thursday 8-11 AM ET (NYC KZ)

I've included some examples (Gold and S&P) of some of the wins in recent weeks using the above. To my delight, coincidence or not, I have seen to some to the tick 2:1 moves using this strategy.

So, you are basically want to TP before price starts to retrace back to that order block. Your 50% level of that block is used to be set your SL instead of swing high or low because you wanna make your sl smaller for a better RR.
Whatever is happening right now has happened before and will happen again.

Thanks, turnip15. I have seen this video and have read Tom Hougaard book names as The Trading Manual Singles that I downloaded from his site. Is it the same trading strategy as one that is discussing in this branch?
I've written an indicator by these rules. You can download it now from my attatchments. it also required my library that you need put by path Your Terminal Path\MQL5\Libraries\EnvironmentInfo\ like in my attached screenshot.

As I see, there are a lot of elements of this pattern and it's not a working strategy. Can someone correct if I understand these rules incorrect?

I wrote a script for this strategy. As usual, everything looks great in hindsight, but the chop* will kill you. The signals are over whelming. Judge for your self, but I'm out.

it works - but I'm not 100% sure if its good as an EA ... would say it also depends where we are on the chart

Might need some higher/lower tf as a filter

Side note Tom use 4 bar fractal, not as the treat subject is saying 3 bar fractals

if you watch this podcast with Tom Hougaard - he states very clear - it's not the patterns but your mindset

Thanks again Daz. I have been super profitable with the simple and basic strategy. Never had so much withdrawals.

forget all the indicators and EA's, it is unnecessary.
If you really wish, then just get the fractal indicator, if you really can't see the HH or LL then maybe this is not for you.
Just have a view of Support and Resistance key areas. These become my SL areas. I prefer trailing stops and yes it limits my profits but my win ratio is super high.
follow the strategy as it is explained in the beginning with all the other confusing bits out.
