Disliked{quote} You are not completely right. As a small trader, you get more opportunities cause you dont move price.Ignored
Your wrong, the more capitalized you are the more markets and more strategies you can trade. True, generally no trader should be trading in a market where they move the price. Here is a simple example: If you have 10K account you have limited ability to diversify. Most will likely trade 1 or 2 products. If you have 200K account you can diversify your portfolio and trade more strategies, more markets = Better Portfolio Risk Management.
Yup I'm a newbie here on this forum, so take it with a grain of salt, but I have traded since 2003, and 10 years full time at a prop desk up until 2019 and done well for myself. I have never traded a market where I moved the price, whether it was Energy Futures, Cracks, Rate Futures, Equities, or Currencies, whatever. Traded 20-30 products/strategies at a time, discretionary and grey box.
Good year to be in the markets, especially stocks. Happy trading!
