Daily S/R Levels for Monday

  1. It is likely that bulls might push price back up as long as candles close above the 1.1825/35 zone. Especially as long as 1.1733 supports we can assume that bulls still have the upper hand for now.

The triangles are getting smaller, blue and red trend lines will cross, the trend of the MACD is going down: based on these facts, a high of around 1.218 until beginning of October seems possible.
But as we know (especially for forexer11): anything can happen ;-)

Anyone know why the EUR is tanking all of a sudden? I had it targeted to hit the 1.25-1.27 levels in October but it seems like its taking a turn the last 3 days. I am wondering if this a due to seasonal cycles

It is the 8th time it has done almost the exact same thing since April. We have a quick run up, then we have a pullback in the 200 to 250ish pip range, only to continue higher is its obvious uptrend. Until we get a confirmed break of the line in Ata's chart above, there is literally nothing for the bulls to worry about. We have seen this pair rally under all conditions for many months, stocks up, stocks down. bullish usd news, bearish usd news, bullish euro news, bearish euro news, it all makes no difference. But I am a swing trader, so I have no idea where what it will do on shorter time frames.

It used to be European and London open make the higher moves. But since 2019, it's new york that too right before exactly an hour before it opens and ironically Asia follows the same. So which brings me to the point i.e 10th hour we are seeing more PA.

Normally 24 hours to be divided into 6 sessions

1. 0 to 4
2. 4 to 8

3. 8 to 12
4. 12 to 16
5. 16 to 20

6. 20 to 24

the 1st and 2nd sessions hour of the 0-8 hours wellington and sydney defines a range

then 3rd 4th and 5th session i where to FOCUS where Frankfurt-London steps in and volatility increases and chances to make pips here and then
newyork gets added

so 3rd 4th and 5th sessions important
and 6th 1st no movement.

i know you have this knowledge but it is for fellow traders

my requst from you is if we can get an indicator which can give the pip movement of this sessions OHLC
as we have for the whole day so we can get an ADR of this 3 session to judge the trade and direction

I dont use many indicators. My incdicators circle is MA, FIB, RSI, MACD and i use these not regularly. I always try to look at it with empty chart from HTF to LTF.
It is simple observation of market behavior at various markets starts to trade. IMO, It is irrelevant to calculate how many pips it generate at any market opens. Just stick to your analysis, learn how to fine tune your analysis.

1.1823 is the key for bears. A 4hr close above bulls would gain momentum. A 4hr closes below 1.1815 bears will be in control.

There seems to be a consensus among brokers that the euro will likely appreciate after the ECB meeting on Thursday, as noone expects the ECB to mention the strong euro, except maybe in the context of an adjustment of inflation expectations.
Another day, another dollar.

i would not short it before it breaks under 1.168 and under. You still in a up-price-channel, check also the candles there is >50 pips of range around it shorts and longs leads the herd to eat from its hand, needs only one or two candles of it and the direction of game totally change

We are in an up channel, but notice that the price concentrate on the lower boundary. For me I count this as sign for the bears.

Every time bulls push price higher you have as result bear go to drop price in short time also. If bulls that strong, we have more fight in the top of the channel. Bulls invest here only to push price a little higher.
