So you want a weekly box on a Daily Chart. Another indicator for that. let me try to find one.

Hi Bro, is there any chance you can add the ability to plot standard deviations of the box range above and below it for x number of times, you already made it possible for number of pips, but it is more useful to have it draw deviations of its range, thank you very much

Sorry but I don't wish to make an already complex indicator even more so. I would have to go back and test lots of different combos of parameters to ensure that I haven't introduced new bugs elsewhere. I've attached the latest mq4 file if anybody else wants to tackle your request.

Depending on how many charts and time frames you require this on, I would just use the Fibonacci Tool , assuming a few charts only

Add the deviations that you require, eg. 10% of the range, add a line at 1.1 and -0.1

Fibonacci Tool will draw those levels as a percentages, lines with be at high and low as usual and lines at +10% and -10% of the range

I can post a picture if you don't grasp the concept or the math

hello again just was wondering is it possible to add the lines on this indicator ? the stop loss add the lines and if u can add them to be auto updated ?

this indicator show the stop loss values but no lines . i use it to scalp but can be easy for it to be auto updated and add the stop loss lines like the colours red for the short stop loss and blue or green for the stop loss buy levels .

Sorry but this is the wrong thread. You need to post in a thread like this one and maybe somebody else can help you. But you will need to upload the mq4 file, because the ex4 file can't be read by programmers.

The indi i posted will give a M5 box which you can see on M1, but no values

Market doesn't trade until 24:00 on Friday, change the setting to 23:00 or 23:45 to test

I suggest using a separate application for that day, using the Unique ID

Apply 1 instance for Monday to Thursday, and the other for Friday only

Let me see if that will work..... standby

Okay, scratch that, actually you have more problems than Friday, look at your chart for any of the other days!

Not sure what you are trying to achieve but you can't use the all the parameters you have there together

See this and try that, then change the Properties one by one to set what you want

Read the instructions in Post #1 very carefully

I'm sorry but I don't use the indicator myself. It's not useful to me. Every time I make a change to it I have to re-read post #1 and look through the code to remind myself exactly what it does and how it works. Because there are potentially such a vast number of parameter combos, it is very difficult to test every possible eventuality.

Members like Erebus and Shabs19 are much more familiar with how to make the indicator work then I am. There are some little tricks that you can use. I'm not familiar with these. You can possibly find some of them by experimenting yourself. Like Erebus says, you should read post #1 thoroughly first.

Nonetheless, the indicator is both complex and old and there could easily be bugs. Like I said before, it's almost impossible to test every possible parameter combo. I've provided the .mq4 source file so that anybody can modify it. I don't have much enthusiasm for Forex these days. There are apparently more than 8 million third party MT4 indicators, so if you can't make this one do what you want, there's a decent chance that there's another one somewhere that will. I hope that you can find it.

You are correct about Friday, strange really as the lines paint OK, just the shading is the problem.

You can use an alternative indicator to paint the shading and use the daily line box for the lines only.
