If my model is correct today is the last upswing before the big drop, so use caution and stops. If it gets up to 1.3266 and higher then my whole Gann theory and model needs more research and backtesting.

Me too, if can make new high today mean I have never see this bfore so I still need to see retrace more here however only gbpusd moving a lot today with poor eco data report.

i am pretty sure it is going to be flat for several more weeks but within this can be huge volatility so important to pick the right spots, as we stand for me bias is slighly to the upside ... 13170 is the middle of the chop, so we need more up from here, but it will be slow so i will be happy for 50 pips down as that will give me another long entry

Just to make it clear we are dealing with probability nothing is certain until it happens. My thinking is that 1.3266 on 8-19 could be W3.
I have been researching Gann Master Chart technique. If I understand it correctly the move from 6-29 1.2250 has reached it price at 1.3266.

So my interpretation could be wrong or this could be the top of W3 top. Now I have another model that shows me possible swing points. This model is saying that today is the swing high and it could turn today. Now if it does not turn today, does not rule out the 1.3266 possible swing top. It could continue sideways in a consolidation pattern.

What will void my 1.3266 possible top is that price action goes higher then we are back to square one, meaning W3 is much higher than 1.3266 and we have not gotten there yet.

I'm short from higher prices, my bet is that we are going lower today until 8-28 then pop. 1.2877 could be revisited also 1.2812 6-10 high.
It could be W4 or just a retrace on 8-28 and could continue lower into Sept. Then work into a final W5, Time will tell then. Today is very important also watch 2 pm NYC time it could get interesting

Not much action @ 2 pm NYC, just a cat bounce. The next watch could be @ 9:24 pm NYC or London session @ 3:38 AM NYC but I will be sleeping :-).

Either way, my bias has not changed, Model did say a pop on 8-25 and we got it. Now the real test is the model says its going lower til 8-28

So it should start to decline fast or at its own speed to 8-28, that remains to be seen.

Was not expecting a pop today but the day is young. now if it continues higher and closes above yesterday high, then my model today is out of sync and
not working today.
