GBP/USD long.
we hinting at a 5 min pocket of demand

EURGBP is heading up. will keep pressure on GBPUSD, hence my limit.
Dollar index can go a little lower, which should pick this up in the short term.

ps. The spread is over 15 pips might do this manually

Please I've a question, can anyone clarify me

Monthly is in an uptrend, weekly in a downtrend
By the realignment, I should wait for price to get to monthly demand and buy
So price gets to monthly demand, and I use a daily wow as confirmation entry long

Now price is rallying from that daily wow and going well and then forms other daily demand on it's way up.
Can I take them also?
My fear is that although price is rallying from monthly demand, the weekly is still down and taking daily demands doesn't seem right since the weekly trend hasn't changed and also the weekly might also have it's on wow trade on the monthly demand so daily demand wouldn't work but I've videos of alphonso Moreno in similar trade scenario taking the daily demands as it goes up.
Can anyone clarify, did I miss something

Hey Obiech, could you post the chart you're looking at. Since trends change from inside out (Daily will turn into an uptrend before the Weekly) it would be appropriate to take daily demand as long as the demand zone is of quality (Time at zone, move away, location on the curve, freshness, etc...) AND you have enough profit margin between the Daily demand you are looking at and the next opposing Supply zone whether that be the next daily Supply or the Weekly Supply. However, the best demand zones usually are at lower price.

Post your TDA so the traders here can check out you're particular scenario.

NZD/USD 4H chart.

here is a example for you which is what you were referring to i believe.

Price is in a uptrend on longer time frame (daily). price are going down on 4 hourly. they are going down into a demand zone. you want to buy at the low of the uptrend which this is what it is. you want to wait for price to hit the lower level before buying more, other wise price will turn against you. but like masterquis said, a chart will do alot of good.

I like the bottom level more then the top, but i think we can make a move up from the top level, which is around 0.6480 ish. lower level comes in at 0.6450.

this would bring dollar bears back in. i am currently bullish on dollar in the shorter term as we are getting closer to a demand level.

weekly trend is up, the weekly is out of alignment so I sell monthly supply

so I use daily wow as confirmation and sell the supply that broke the trendline.

Now the question is as price continues going down on the daily, it creates more supply. Can I sell those supply also.

My fear is that the weekly trend is still up so selling daily supply seems wrong and if I can truly sell the daily supply when the weekly is up, then what's the use of the weekly time frame.


Also another question I hope you can talk on is how to time my entry on
I prefer to enter on the 4hr and most times the setup works well but price either takes me out or miss my entry

NICE! you got it right at the top. well done.

the post right before yours refers to your chart on a lower time frame (4h).

in theory, yes. you can keep shorting the supply zones. there's a few near by for you you have a lower risk short on the upper zone, which would give you the highest reward, with the lowest risk, but we could turn on the lower one which is a nice cap on 4 hour. not to complicate it. chart provided.

If i may, regarding what to journal...the most important thing i consider and ask my traders to do is journal their mental states, especially how they are thinking while they are thinking, before they take any action.

After a while of being a practitioner and speculator you find that chart analysis is important but self analysis and reflection are equally if not more important.
It is required doing for traders on the Roundtable because to perform, we have to be able to reflect on ourselves, our thought processes and mindset before, during and after any activity in the market.

So, one question you may want to ask before taking a trade may be, "what is at stake in this trade" (and i don't mean in terms of monetary value).

small explanation of how i find trades. taking into account we are in a uptrend, supply levels would be taken out fairly quickly and you would know you are in a bad short trade very quickly.

the upper level i wouldn't really consider a supply zone, or a good one. just giving an example of what to look for. also multi time frame analysis is very important and will determine alot when it comes to successful zones.
