Hi I used to test your RMI . i think it was the old version of Ranger EA.

So what is the different?

All I can tell is the Ranger EA add one more pair NZDCAD and change AC and NC to 1H time frame.

My understanding added a bit more layers of protection from run away moves that cause the D.D.'s

The Ranger EA V2
- 6X more profitable than any of the RMI EA's overall.

Hi Ryan

I am conservative trader.
Like many others here, I am looking for low risk options that returns around 1 - 2% p/m ( Floating equity DD, max 10%)
For example: Personally, I am more drawn to the AUD/CAD pair as it had a lower dd ( +- 30%) on the backtest in version 2.3

My aim is not to grow my account with the ea, but rather to get a low consistent returns (while capital is protected.)

You know the ea inside out, and you also know 'what is required for the strategy to function properly'.

I am sure a lot of members will appreciate a video on ' the best low risk settings & options'

How suitable is this for FTMO or the 5%ers? Within the EA, can you select a max daily loss and max loss, and not made on the weekends?

Or can it be used with 1:5 leverage?

The 5%ers require each trade to have a SL.

The Ranger EA wasn't made for these prop firms although you can use it. It does have a % loss cutoff you can use to make sure the EA stays within the rules. You can also put a SL on every trade as well. Still, the EA wasn't meant to be traded like this. It was built with a lot more flexibility in mind when it comes to DD and profit numbers. It also some times needs to hold trades over the weekend which FTMO doesn't allow as well.

The Ranger EA has pulled great numbers over the past 9 months with over 52% profit in 9 months with only -10% DD.

So the EA can be slightly modified to fit these rules. It's still profitable but the bottom line is. Making +10% a month in profit at FTMO with a maximum of -5% DD is very challenging with ANY strategy/EA.

can we use this EA on other pairs like eurusd,gbpusd, etc ? and how is accuracy for other pairs ? i just installed this EA but its not doing any trade yet... still testing this EA for 1-2 weeks...
