GBPUSD scalp

decided not to cover at 2-3 pm yesterday cause the 4hr chart was giving signals that a bigger move was coming

now I'm flat @ 1.3088 from 1.3155

Big US data coming out today. If the pound continues heading south I will jump in at a retracement

GBPUSD Recap 8/2-7/2020

Post# 7669 & 7694 short / 7701 scalp short / 7705 covered short

Went short on GU but did not pan out got stopped out with a loss.

A second attempt to short GU originally was a scalp to cover between 2-3 pm but the 4hr chart gave a signal that a bigger move was coming so I held it.

I covered my short due to the NFP report coming out. Had to leave to run some errands and to my surprise, GU headed lower without me :-)

Either way, I'm looking forward to this week's price action. Will work on some analysis and finalize my Report for August forecast on GU

GBPUSD August Forecast

Seasonal stats are saying a bullish month but when you look at it from a low in July going into August it makes sense.

Model 1 is indicating lower prices in August. I will be looking for a swing low in the third or fourth week of August.

We are hitting major resistance on many levels, Watch out for 8-11 its hit the 144.

I will be watching the open on Sunday night. The game plan is to short retracements with a small position and build up as it goes down

Now for the bullish view. It has to break that major trend line and stay above it for three days before I will consider a long position. keeping in mind that the dollar has to be tanking with volume.

next friday's close you can verify is the precise mid point of Q3 eurusd and gbpusd should close at 11750 and 13000 respectively if gann is to be believed

should be a fairly brutal down half the week then up the rest affair, good chances to get in along the way ... cable shouldn't get lower than 1.2850 maybe as low as 12800 but unlikely

over 10 yrs with Gann here i believed, some may failed but easy just cutloss....

I have a model that confirms your thesis. mid-week a swing low 8-12 then go higher

I will be for the lookout mid-week and tighten stops. If price action and volume increases. I will go long
