Thats the base of whole engulf theory. It has been stated by Ifmyante before in his journal at RTM. There was a quiz in his journal, very old one. He was explaining a simple chart. One IT is giving others the signal that price is going to turn. Thats the engulf.. Other IT pushes price further away from engulf, which is the retrace.

ok still want to know how ifmyante himself he is sure about that. For me engulf is clearing the demand or supply so that price can advance in the direction of the engulf after retrace, but it doesn't mean it cant be a signal used by ITS to communicate about their intention, .

I also would like to know how If got to know that. But I found this in a journal of a master trader at RTM.

often and pretty normal when analysis shows a chance to trade.
when a PO is missed, so long price moves in your favor, there is always another chance.

still can't get away from this one.

Copis' analysis still holds valid, it is in the direction.

For now, there are two scenarios.

A nice little engulf into compression followed by a diamond on NU for a 10R setup/

andddd loss. Any feedback about the engulf into compression or the diamond? This is one of those examples where prices engulfs into a PAZ, then shouldnt it get to the other side of that PAZ before breaking any supply above?

as mentioned before, filling of PO at the exact level has some good luck.
this entry was off by very wide range, very bad.
hindsight always teaches a good lesson.

This engulf might not be a certainty ?
