Since "market is not random" I'm wondering what mistake I made or was that one of "10% that fail". This happens more than often, so thats rather something I'm doing wrong. Thats april 2018.

That little thing is what we call, mouth FL. the LTF FL at the SR flip of the HTF FL.

Thanks bro. Recently I'm testing and trying to find these "last set of orders". Not saying I'm doing it right but both zones gave not bad RR. With assumption that there was eng up I decided to not close the lower one too quickly.
Fdx how do you reckon, was there eng up? And when would you call it quits?
Hope I don't pollute this thread too much.

I think what we are posting here is related to RTM concepts. So I believe we are not polluting the thread .

Now only I noticed in your first AUDUSD post that there is another buy. Let me see.. As I am looking at them in MT4, may be I am curve fitting them. But lets me check.

Edit: and yes.. correct, I would be closing half at the TG1, and as you shown in your second image, if I see a engulf down, I would close all.

Seems there are many concepts which we can justify the scenario. But to be honest, If I were you, trading at the exact location, I would expect price to go up, because of that engulf. If we consider the LSKs from Daily chart, that is not an engulf. It directly hit a Daily iQM level.

From the FLs point of view, that is a valid engulf, but ignored. Thats why the iQM level worked after the engulf

But, if we consider a top down analysis, we are in a weekly UFL, where we look for sell opportunities, not buy opportunities.

Anyways, Engulf is engulf, be it a UFL or LFL. It should work upside or downside. To me the only valid scenario is the second one that it was ignored. May be someone has a better explanation.

But when it comes to real trading, i am impatient, I am not seeing many engulfs.. whole chart is covered with boxes and i don't see any engulf, which makes me enter without confirmation.. So these days I am practising with forex tester. Seems it is a good software.

Instead of focusing on the content, emphasis must be on the process. A simple question would help spearhead your understanding on how the market works. When an area of confluence is fully engulfed, what will be the end result for the retails - institutions - banks - hedge fund - market makers? Does it benefit them or does it disinterest them for further accumulating? Answer is within you.

In this thread our understanding is that an engulf after a reaction to a demand or supply zone shows the intention of the institutional traders , say a price is reacting to a 1 hour supply and engulfs a 1 hour demand, now for those institutions they need at least to fill their orders in a demand zone lower that the one that has been engulfed before they can break that supply the price is reacting to, that is why we wait for them on retrace to the qm or ftr or lsk level to fill back the remaining orders to reach at least the demand zone right bellow the one that has been engulfed, so here we exploit the need for institutions of ordres to move the price. thats the only advantage we retailers have over them.

after engulf took place, it becomes imperative to looks for available orders.
