It's been a busy day but managed to get to the important times of the day and picked up an initially dodgy-looking Dead Zone. I didn't have time to search for an alternative so it was UC or nothing and normally, the zone being right up against that Supply Zone would mark it as no-no, as my Voodoo said Long Bias.

However, as the set-up candle was a bear, this let me turn an apparent negative into a positive and take the play as a Wick-Zone, as price was drawn back into the Supply Zone.

All good in the end.

Dead Zone UC Long Bias Done WZ

This, on the other hand is a just-fine-time to trade the NDX100 and here a quick jump on board some momo gets a result.

With that, that'll do me for the day. Had a hand in some set-and-forget tech as well, though didn't manage to set any Buy Zone plays today, so overall and considering everything is still far from normal business here for me, not too bad a haul.

Back tomorrow for some more fun-in-the-sun.

Troubled by the concept of frequency -
Hence charting Sydney/Tokyo Open and London Open

GBPUSD and GBPJPY combined move together average 60 pips
Target 40 pips is feasible.
But learn from Billy that small percent add up
Hence target 20 pips combined

So tell us what specific set-up are you looking for to take advantage of this mean reversion?

Are you basing it on a time-slot? A pattern? Specific behaviour?

Interested to hear your take on things.

I still based off the edge of the band
As PA (be it tokyo open of london open) near upper or lower edge of TMA gives me the probability of direction bias

Hi Failin, and welcome.
You say good things, I am aware and stats verify what you say, with the (Asian Session). So carry on posting .
As you say, I trade for a small percent.
I actually trade for an almost guaranteed percent.
It doesn't matter if its £1 or £100 per pip, give me that 5 and I am happy.
Your chart? It reminds me of my 2 buddies in the forex business, they frighten clients with similar charts.
Trade Well and stick around.

{quote} Not really. Some bar steward scraped the back corner of my car whilst I was sitting in the car park. His fault and we were amicable regarding recording details ( I take photographs of damage). Superficial and car drivable, but it ruined my day. I was going to play with TWS on IBKR. An old couple also saw accident so I got their details too. {image}
