Kind Request for Advanced Ichimoku PIN
Your Ichimoku PIN works perfectly. This proposal is only for make the PIN into an advanced level.
When I study more about ichimoku and patterns I feel there are small missing options which should be added back to your PIN. By combining your ichimoku MTF PIN and other visual indicators, it is very helpful to do manual trading. But when it comes to auto still some changes need to be done for the improvement.

First, please add an option to change the signal mode something like “Signal on Cross” and “Price above/bellow”. This is simply like an arrow signal vs histo/tape. I have analyze and found out that this will really helpful to enter the trade or exit in lower time frames(M15,M30), but stay in the same direction with high time frames(Daily).

“Closed Bar confirmed” option is very trustworthy and its already there. Thanks

I’ll mention what are the signaling points we can use. (Definitely this will be depending on the strategy and not every point will do the best, but may be for early ENTER or EXIT these places will help)

1. Price cross Tenkan (price above Tenkan is already included in the PIN)
2. Price cross Kijun (price above Kijun is already included in the PIN)
3. Chikou span Cross the price (New: Signal on Cross)
4. Tenkan cross kijun (New request:Signal on Cross)

5. Kumo price breakout Senkou Span A or B (New request:Signal on Cross)
Can combine with Chikou span Cross the price bellow/above

6. Chikou span cross Senkou A or B (New request:Signal on Cross)

Based on above signals and the safest place to enter the trade is as bellow.
Tenkan crossed bellow the kijun and after the Chikou span crossed senkou A/B to same side of the cloud.

But if I need earlier signals, I can ignore the cloud and can take as bellow
Tenkan cross Kijun and chikou span cross price above/bellow to same side of the trend

There are many possibilities can be combined together for better signals. I'll share my analysis.

An update to the pin is already underway and it will have 8 or 9 different signal modes for each timeframe based on the alerts in nikossl's ichimoku indicator (which I think is the one you are showing in your post?), including a Trending mode of my own.

It's quite a major job to build and test the logic for all these modes. In fact the signal logic is some of the most complex I have tackled.

@belie thank you for doing all the promote for indicator (nikos ichimoku) and giving me the credit.

It is a profitable indicator if you combine it with patterns.
Although the last year, i am mostly trading fractals, ichimoku indicator was by the far the most complicated (in order to test it and make it work). I did some self coding with combination of EA Wizard.

I am really happy that a so high class developer @jagzuk will pay attention to my indicator. Thank you both.

Great to hear from you! I want to thank you for the work you put in to make the indicator.

For the pin, I am writing the code from scratch (I don't cut and paste!), but I have unpicked the logical conditions you worked and I am using them most of the modes. It is a logical headache and having your indicator to refer to is a real benefit.

I have credited you in the pin description.

Im on heavily testing and analyzing charts with ichimoku with different settings and different combinations.
Have a look at Tenken sen only. Normally ichimoku is developed for daily charts. Some are using TS crosses for mini trend trades on daily charts.
Can achieve the same results on 4H with 54 on period setting. Also can use this one as KS crosses with 26 (156 on H4)

Hi jagzuk, unfortunately, the JagzFx_pin_Ichimoku_v1_00 1.00 indicator stops and does not refresh, and the indicator must be opened and closed once to catch up. Do you have a new version to send? Thank you

This has been addressed in a new version which has already been written but is not on public release yet.
For your freezing issue, please read Post #1! (or since I am feeling nice today, go straight to post #815).

I can see Pin 2 + 4 only active
Based on the snap, you are taking mainly H1 trend. No complains about the setup. but in the swing highs you will fee that you are late for the party. So better you fill up your pip basket stop. then start next day. Just a thought. May be Im wrong. Best to test and test and test

Hi, What is this here for? Are you replying to someone's post or proposing a new PIN? if it's for a new PIN: Did you read Post #1? Have you checked if it repaints? Have you checked it's signal against other indicators that already have PINs? How would you use it in a trading strategy? What levels would you use to generate PIN signals and why?
